UPDATE: I purchased this edger a few weeks ago. Wow what a difference! I no longer have to go back and forth as I did with the weak Dewalt edger that constantly choked and stalled on my thick lawn. The Greenworks makes quick work of it with very little effort on my part. As fast as you can walk, this thing pulls you forward without skipping a beat. Best edger I've ever had. It doesn't need a shoulder strap and the weight is very manageable. You won't find a better edger, battery or gas, than this one. Nice lawn! Its like mine - thick and green. I used my neighbor's Dewalt edger and its constantly jamming and stalling. Very frustrating to use but the battery is only 20 volts which explains its lack of power. I have other Greenworks 80v tools (mower and blower) so I will likely buy this edger since it appears to be much more powerful than the Dewalt.
Edging looks very good, I use my Ego which work’s awesome as well. Now it makes your driveway look dirty, time to power wash it with a surface cleaner then everything is super nice! 😊
What causes it not to keep cutting even though the battery is full. The silver head was so hot to the touch. It's been a great edger but has started to go bad. Any suggestions
The masterforce 80v series from menards are just rebranded greenworks tools. So the 80v masterforce batteries will work in 80v greenworks and vice versa.
