Just visited the Greenville area on combined vacation/scoping, as my youngest daughter is considering moving to the Greenville area next spring. She loved the area! These videos are exactly what we need.

I am retired, and was looking for a place to move farther south from the DC area. Looked in several places including Myrtle Beach, and decided that was too touristy. My buddy lives in Travelers Rest, and says you must come to Greenville and see this. I arrived in Greenville exactly 2 years ago today, on Valentine’s Day. Two days later, I found my lot, and my builder in Greer. Signed a contract and moved inOne year ago. My wife and I love Greer, we love our house, and the whole vibe of the area. We can shoot up to Landrum for that smaller town experience. We think we made the best choice for us, and love the area. Thanks for the information.

I was born & raised in TX. My husband's sister moved to Greer for her job and says she enjoys the peace & quiet. We're leaving to visit her on Wednesday for a week. My husband wants to relocate there. I'm still iffy. What is there to do for fun there? Where are the good neighborhoods? Would I need to travel every weekend to find fun & exciting new things to do? We're both adrenalin junkies so what can I expect from Greer? Does it flood a lot over there? What arethe winters/summers like? I hate the triple digit heat & humity which is one of the worst things in Texas. How diverse is Greer?

No you wouldn’t have to travel every weekend to find fun things to do. There is a lot to do and discover in the area! What do you like to do? And when you say adrenaline junkies, how so? My husband is also, but his definition is different 😅

I wanted to move to Greenville, but now that i live in a city, i realized that i miss my small town life. I think Greer would be a great alternative.

Great video! Looking forward to moving to Greer SC. I love to have the Mountains very close. I live in Charleston SC. Beautiful place! But after 5 years I run out of options of things to do without spend a ton of money with my wife and kids. We really love Greenville and the small cities around it.

One good thing about that area, you close to the mountains one way and beach the other way. I so miss living in my hometown of Spartanburg.

We are moving to the area soon. The most important for us is to be close to a good high school, as of now we are thinking about Riverside HS in Greer.

Thanks for this. I’m currently in SC and was thinking about moving to Texas however too much is going on there and I want to find diverse cities with a lot to do. I’m currently in the PeeDee area.

Lots of great neighborhoods! I will say the the largest age group population in the upstate is people in their 30s ;) so I don’t think you can go too wrong. If you’d like to give me some more specifics via email I could probably narrow it down for us! :)
