My husband of 20 years took me to a Jewellery shop and asked me to select a ring. I asked him what the ring was for. He gave a vague answer that suggested that he thinks we shall get married. 5 years before that visit to the Jewellery shop, while I was dating a different boy, he told me he would marry me one day. I laughed. So I didn’t get a grand proposal but I sure have the best husband for me 😊
How for the love of God does anyone think Steve Harvey isn’t a REAL man???? I’m white, married for 41 years & I’ve been watching Steve since his inception to comedy. I LOVE this man!!!
@Kim Johnson YES! He has more common sense, and understands people, better than any counselor or Psychiatrist that I’ve ever seen; and I’ve seen a few. LOL He gives some of the best advice imaginable. He “reads” people better than anyone I have ever known. STEVE IS SO VERY SMART! I know that he’s been through a lot in his life, but he just has a natural ability in dealing with people and problems. I just wish HE’D BRING BACK HIS SHOW!! BRING BACK YOUR SHOW STEVE!!!! I WORKED & COULDN’T WATCH THEM ALL. I LOVE THAT RU-vid is bringing back “shorts” and snippets of the shows, but I want to see it all. COME BACK STEVE, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!
@The Lion and the Mouse I wondered about that myself. Evidently Steve must’ve told Greg that they wanted to get the ring to advertise that jewelry store. Personally, I would’ve wanted my husband pick it out, even if it was just a $75.00 skinny gold band.

I loved watching this, but I couldn't help but wonder why Steve was all up in their business when Greg was proposing. Did he need to stand so close? Give the illusion of a private moment Uncle Steve.
My fiance proposed one Sunday, I'm on the couch with a slightly upset stomach and he leaves to go to the store. Comes home and asks is my stomach better I said yeah and he said well its probably about to flip. Lit a cigarette and sat the ring on my leg saying will you marry me. I was laying dwn in the fetal position on the couch. I sit up in shock, I said quit playing. You're supposed to be on ur knee, no! No! He gets on his knee for a brief second and asks. I said yes but still dnt feel like it was a proposal or I'm engaged. 3carot ring! And all this was 5 days ago. Mind you we r taking a week vacation to Tennessee in 4weeks. I wish he wud have waited til then. But oh well, the ring is big I guess. I'm not big on the social standard of ring sizes. He did by me a bmw though months prior, so he obviously loves me and I love him with all of me. I think he was really nervous and excited inside.
Maaaaannn … I was so excited to propose. I actually ended up doin the proposal when she was on the pot. “Potty” I couldn’t wait till the restaurant. An she still said yes. Tell me I don’t have a gorgeous woman, perfect mother??? My Queen. I love you M!! 😘💕🥰💪🏻
