Why does everyone make the comment feed a battle. If you don't like the song, thumbs down it and move on. Quit seeking out attention. Personally I like the song, has great meaning to it and the singer has a pretty good voice.

this was probably my dad favorite song , i forgot the name of the song and tried to find it for years. All i remember was that the author name have a 'greg' in it , now i finally found it. Probably after 5-6 years of trying to search for it.

Listening back on this reminds me of Sophomore year of highschool. I'm a freshman in college now, where does time go?! Greg Bates has an amazing voice, just wish he would write more, he has so much potential. Just discovered the song Sand and I wish I did when it came out!

He vanished, fell off the face of the earth. No one knows where he is or what hes doing. I saw an article on him a few years ago that hes a dad now. His facebook has been abandoned since mid 2016. This is a crying shame I've loved this song since it came out and have always crossed my fingers hed come back but it doesnt look good, he has no label and his last single was in 2013.
