I think he's the most important voice on Fox. He's the only one (maybe with the exception of Tucker Carlson) to provide a unique voice, a different take, a novel thought process on the network. I'm not anti-fox but there is an issue with homogeneity of opinion there.

The first I saw Tyrus with Greg I thought “who is this lunk”. Boy has he changed my mind; his kids are lucky to have him for a dad.

Gavin McInnes was up for Tyrus' job. He said they decided to hire an idiot, because he's black, and they wanted diversity. IDK. But Gavin is much smarter, and funnier than Tyrus. Cause if Tyrus wasn't physically big, he wouldn't of ever become famous. Glad he was nice to you though.

I was looking for this comment. Greg nails it too with DEI in business, but I can't say which came first. Did corporations invite these people into their HR departments (i.e. the armpit of the corporate world), or is HR the only place these people can get a job? I mean, HR isn't something that newly enrolled college students actually pursue with a scholastic passion/interest. They've basically settled for this path because they need a job to pay the bills and don't know anything that is productive or useful.

@@nattymo7835 The reason any idiot makes it into a company is that they have someone in management who likes them. The ideological lefties at the top buy into that crap, and hire people with basket weaving degrees to enact the plans. Its better that they don't have brains, it makes them more pliable, and compliant and stick to the ideology. Most top execs comes from ivy league schools, and those are ALL run by progressives. If the elites taught there didn't go in believing in the ideology, they certainly came out brainwashed that way.

@@nattymo7835 Well think of all of the support staff it takes for a large corporation. Lots of menial office jobs that people with useless degrees can get because really anyone can get them. So they're young and freshly indoctrinated by left-wing activist professors in a university not to mention that they feel like disappointments because they're completely useless and have a job paying the bare minimum. So they get caught up in SJW frenzy and start militantly pressuring their bosses to adopt SJW policies. I think HR just adapts to whatever the current situation is. I've never met an HR person who actually gave a shit about anything. Most owners and managers don't really care, but are willing to exploit something that they can get for no money and little effort (spewing bullshit they don't believe in) in order to keep their employees off their backs and massive drum up some few advertisement if they show how social justice friendly they are. HR is one of those useless office jobs so perhaps they've been taken over by the useless college graduates. That's possible as well. I haven't met many young HR employees.

Red Eye rocked!

I started recording Red Eye back when it was being broadcast just to see what it was. Took about 3 shows to get a grasp on just what the hell was going on. It was insane. Nothing was off limit, and the variety of guests were great. Greg nudges up as close as he can to that spirit with "Gutfeld", but nothing will ever top Red Eye.

Gutfeld is used to rushing through each segment for advertisers during primetime and carolla is more laid back from not having to focus on advertising spots

@@herbal776 I just remember years ago when Adam had a radio show with Dr. Drew, he has always been laid back and thoughtful about everything he says. Never even heard of Greg before this show.

Gutfeld is pushing his way through Fox since 2007 or 2008 Red Eye days (or nights). He was funny back then and I even wrote an email to Fox News to let them know about it!
