It’s rumored that despite their squeaky-clean PR, they messed around a lot in-studio and not just on their downtime. It’s also likely that Barry turned Maureen onto hard-drugs by introducing her to weed. (Often, Barry and Maureen would show up to set stoned lol) Of course, since they were young their relationship burnt-out quick, but they had their fun. Damn, did they both have serious chemistry and just plain looked good together…
Jan was the prettiest sister. It’s funny how the show tried to make her look plain compared to Marcia. I could tell the actor who played Greg had a crush on Marcia IRL. They always seemed to be flirting even when fighting lol
It’s NOT canon at all in the show itself. Greg and Marcia never had a crush on each other. They were brother and sister. Technically step brother and step sister, but by about the second season the distinction between real sibling and step sibling was essentially gone (and of course from the beginning the girls took their new father’s name). Barry and Maureen, however, did have crushes on each other, flirted often, and had a brief teenage fling. That energy seemed to come through in their scenes here and there.
Maureen McCormick~ and Susan Dey are both hotties in different ways!! Maureen is bossy, self confident, assertive/ aggressive and empowered HOT, while Susan Dey is chill, calm, trippy~ out there~ and sensual HOT ( the Yin and the Yang ☯️).
