I feel kinda bad for Russell poole, he tried so hard to solve biggies case that it literally killed him. At least he cared enough to find the truth and he was definitely in the minority in finding out what actually happened. R.I.P RUSS AND BIGGIE!

Russell Poole was clueless about the atmosphere of hip hop at that time and clueless about gang culture and more specifically compton gang culture. His only theory was based off what a guy with schizophrenia said. He should of never been assigned that case.
THANK YOU!!!!! Somebody said the truth about Russell Poole. Even though "Unsolved" was dramatized for Hollywood. The way they made Russell Poole look was accurate. The movie "City Of Lies" is trash. When I read "Murder Rap" and saw how he relied on a schitzo snitch and came up with wild theories that make no sense. My attitude changed on Russell Poole. The ONLY thing he was right about is LAPD NEVER wanted to solve the case.

He says the first thung they did was dismiss the Amir Muhammad theory when in fact all they did was harrass Keefe D for the hit when they already knew he was only responsible for pacs death. Russell Poole died 18 years AFTER Biggie died. Don't confuse Poole coming off as more likeable than Kading as being more informed. Ppl from Cali cosign Kading's theory.
THANK YOU, when I read Kading's book and watched Unsolved and the Murder Rap doc....it made Russell Poole's theories and his reliance on a schitzo snitch look like he played EVERYONE. He was right about one thing the LAPD didn't want to solve the case.
@@THERSC216 Russell Fool was saying for YEARS that Suge had Pac killed and Biggie to cover it up. I remember he was pushing that in the early 2000s on those 96/97 homicides. If " they" were trying to hush him up, WTF did " they" let him live 20 years after the murders? If anything, " they" would keep him around and let him keep spreading outlandish theories. " They" feel he was killed off. Well those conspiracy theorist should know the average age for law enforcement/ corrections is 58. And finally, who is " they" lol. No offense to the dead but he was a fool and in over his head. Unsolved made him look like a beleaguered, unhinged mess. I'm sure it was a degree of hyperbole but he must have been a mess of a person. You don't have to like guys like Chuck Phillips or Greg Kading but they were alot closer to the truth than the Poole.
@@THERSC216 Russel Fool ran with that Suge was behind Pac death and had Biggie killed to cover it up for YEARS. I understand looking into that theory but he took it and ran with it. Published it. Kading and Chuck Phillips might not 🫴 me off as likeable as Poole, but they had more insight into the actual events. Especially if you listen to ppl actually from Cali. Police and Law enforcement gave considerably shorter lifespans than the average person. I don't think his death is that suspicious.

Just finished watching the movie city of lies. And the fbi just released sealed documents saying Amir Mohammed was the shooter with help from lapd. He was placed on the case to blame it on a gangbanger so the cops wouldn’t be held accountable.

The lawsuit was a half a BILLION. Enough to bankrupt the city. LAPD would have assassinated the Governor or anybody it took to keep that amount. The feds fell back because of that.
