Greg Valentine - How Vince McMahon is in Real Life

Greg "The Hammer" Valentine discusses what Vince McMahon is really like in real life, outside WWF (known today as WWE). Streaming now 📺 TitleMatchNetwork.com
No one tells it like it is better than the Hammer! Valentine has a unique experience, working for both Vince McMahon Sr and his son, current owner of WWE, Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
Find out how Vince McMahon was in his early days as a ring announcer and commentator. This is way before the first Wrestlemania and back when WWF was still a regional northeast territory.
Originally, Greg met both McMahon's at his Madison Square Garden debut in 1975. WWF was then known as WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation).
Hear what Vince told the Hammer about his original plans for World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s. Also, how McMahon changed backstage from hanging out with the talent to being more of a boss/manager role.
We also get great insight about legendary WWF minds (former wrestlers turned management) like Pat Patterson and George Scott.
The best part is hearing the differences between the generations in the McMahon family. You'll hear a touching story about Vince Sr not wanting to fire former WWWF champion, Stan "The Man" Stasiak.
Also, we'll go behind-the-scenes of Wrestlemania I and why it was such a big deal for Hammer to meet one of his idols, Muhammed Ali. Greg also points out that George Foreman is his other favorite boxer.

George foreman was not 50 something he was 43 wow just because somebody over 35/25 whatever it is that doesn’t mean they come up with the worst case scenario not that there’s anything wrong with 50 some but just because somebody hasn’t been around for a long time or has been around for a long time they just want to make things seem I don’t know

It’s just like when Hogan came back in 1993 against yokozuna people already assume that he was 45/50 years old the guy was 39 going on 40 birthday is August they assumed he was super elderly and he was in WCW that was just fucked and 40 that’s it

When Hogan came back in the 2000s he was like 48/49 going on 50 when he thought Shwan Michaels he was finally in his 50s I believe 52 then when he thought Randy Orton he was 53

First of all you are wrong about George Forman's age cause he was 45 when he won the title. For someone who seems to love knit picking on the stupid shit makes you look like an arrogant ass. GV is talking about stuff that took place 30 to 40 plus years ago and here you are insulting a legend. I'm impress how he can remember everything that he's done and in detail at his age. So should you.

The fued with Piper was so brutal and so legendary that it marked the first time during the McMahon Jr. Era that Vince allowed the competition (NWA) to be acknowledged on his TV. There's an episode of Piper's Pit with Lou Albano and Greg Valentine that it shows Piper and Valentine burying the hatchet. It's a credit to both The Hammer and The Hot Rod for being so believable that it had to be acknowledged on Vince's TV. That was unprecedented at the time.

As a little kid, I didn't appreciate Greg so much. He seemed kinda too old and out of shape for the time in the WWE days; but I realize now it was only because anyone over the age of like 25 seemed like an old man when you're a 9 year old kid. I wish Vince had let them carry that feud for another 6 months, I never got tired of their matches! Every other wrestler would've plugged his book or other merch, "come see me at this and that convention next month"... he's just saying "If you like, check out my past matches. I hope you enjoy them.
