Ah, give Josh a break...he's probably always been in that role as a sibling...plus, I think Josh only leads out on some topics....he lets the other guys talk, and if you notice, he's very supportive of what one of the other guys is saying... it's a subtle "talent" as the oldest sibling ( and I am of 3 younger brothers) and somewhat protective too. So, cut 'im a break...I find him easy to follow as he explains a lot of topics that are not easy to explain in a 5 min. interview. Love ya Joshy and all of you guys!!!
I live in the GVF hometown-area. I see big growth. This album is colorful & cinematic. It's like the the tracks paint a picture. I love seeing what's going on in the guys' heads! They can do no wrong, in my eyes! Love me some GVF
This band I hope continues for many years. All the bullshit comparisons to Zeppelin are only slight influence compared to what they do musically that I feel is far ahead of Zeppelin. Monumentally talented.
It's nice that these guys respect the moment they are in. Josh (18:51)....."and you're playing with Elton John it's kind of like pinch me now..and you get off the stage after the show and go now I can die in peace....Maybe that's the name of the biography, 'Die In Peace'."
Heat Above is a rockin' tune that turns into a musical crack ear worm I can't get out of my head. Caravel too. The false ending sends the message that we will go on.
Am I the only one noticing a change in Sam’s demeanor? In older interviews he seemed so positive and excited but now he just seems more distant. Maybe it’s just me idk
Damn, at the beginning regarding the Grammy, I think just befor the train interrupted Sam was going to go off on the fact that the rock genre is t even part of the actual awards show anymore. It wasn’t said, but then Josh sort of explained it by saying it’s on the back of a toilet…… love it!!!!
I WONDER IF THESE KIDS FROM GRETA VAN FLEET HAVE EVER HEARD KINGDOM COMES 1988 DEBUT ALBUM. THAT SOUNDED LIKE A LED ZEPPELIN ALBUM FROM START TO FINISH.
The Beatles , The Stones, Zep , Ozzy all carried the unextiquishable torch for early Blues and each one has their particular take on things and it morphs .
Patricia Adams. He has already explained that he has a vocal coach and is taking better care of his voice now. But doing the high notes he typically hits is probably still going to have some effect eventually, I would think. Hope not for a very long time though.
I hope he has one. If not, I couldn't agree with you more. I am likely certain he does. There was a little act called Kansas that has never sounded the same after the loss of Steve Walsh.
Is it just the camera angle that makes Josh's face so asymmetrical? 😆 Is it just me, or is his left eye much higher than his right..? I can't not see it...
Dude talks about a lot of irrelevant stuff in these interviews. Jason Newsted? Do you think GVF cares? Last time he asked about leather versus spandex. 🙄
JOSH MUST NEVER SING SITTING DOWN AND HE NEEDS TO START CLASSICAL VOICE LESSONS AND NEVER EAT GREASY FOODS AND GET 8 HOURS SLEEP. Major strain on his tiny vocal chords is in his near future unless he gets with a good vocal training program HE IS BURNING AT BOTH ENDS AND HE CAN'T CUZ HE IS NOT BUILT LIKE ROB PLANT.
Josh has a vocal coach and he's very careful with caring for his "instrument". Several vocal coaches who talk about singers from many genres of music have all said the same thing about Josh's voice and how he has an over 2 1/2 octave range and easily floats up to very high notes - with no visible strain. (No bulging veins in his neck, etc). Head singing, chest singing - Josh knows what to do. I hope he always takes care of himself as his vocals are amazing!
music IS speech for such BEINGS! - don't let anyone tell you any different! [TOOK 2 BODIES to contain SUCH a SPIRIT!] THUG'Je'CHE...THUG'je'CHITA CHE Sha'alom Shmu-EL!
