They settled and Black Crowes were given songwriting credits. There is a certain group of more prominent artists who would have to stop playing some of their hits if they resigned performing cannibalized material😉
@@monikaszymanowska5142 If you dig deep enough, you'll find that 95% of popular music is "heavily inspired" by something that came before it, and much of it inspired enough to warrant a claim or lawsuit. A lot of these claims get settled in quiet with no lawsuit & a private settlement.

Why don’t they just meet up and put the lyrics onto Black Crows Jealous Again, it could be a great counter lyric. Good song, but it is so completely stolen it’s sad. I know they settled it out of court, but I think she should not rest on that, maybe try to either combine the songs, which I can hear it now in my head, or take the song in a new direction musically to make it truly hers.
