Very helpful video, thanks! I like the mid tuning across. Low kick tuning sounds excellent. With such versatility, thinking I gotta get some Brooklyns (12/14/20) !
"Gretsch Brooklyn series drums are just as good as USA Custom if not better....although if I were handed the choice of the two drum kits I would take the USA Custom but not by much.... What a great value the Brooklyn series is."
The floor tom... the square size has been a default size for decades and one wonders why. To me it's just too many overtones and difficult to tune. I went with shallower floor toms on my new set. I still get a fundamental tone, of course, and more articulate.
Hi Bahasa. These are the mics we used in this video: Kick In: Sennheiser e902 Kick Out: Sennheiser MD421 Snare Top: SM57 Snare Bottom: Sennheiser e906 HH: Rode NTG 1 Toms: AKG C518 ML Overheads: 2 x Neumann TLM 103
I think with the 18" Kick, 2 Toms and the snare it should fit in a small car. With some lightweight hardware , a cymbal backpack and a transport barrow you can maybe also go by train or subway :-?
