You are most kind, thank you. That’s a difficult question. It all depends on what you are doing with it I guess? The 40 is LOUD! So if you play with a full band and back line it will easily compete with a pesky drummer. However …..the 15 is a single power tube, so it’s class A, a sound I’ve always loved. It has enough gain for any situation, but the cleans and pushed tones on the 15 are really good. But the 40 does clean louder? Both have a really well thought out feature set, two channels, boost,1/4 power switch, noise gate, reverb , emulated output etc…..so it’s just down mot where and how loud really?
That is very kind Rick. That guitar is quite low output, but with a spot of compression and the Ge7 eq, Plus a slightly harder attack it sounded really good ina genuine vintage way. Thanks for watching.👍🏻
