This has quickly become my favourite tactics channel on RU-vid. I chose grey knights as a pet faction towards the end of 9th and as a pretty green player, these videos have opened my eyes to some very interesting and fun ways to play. Beers, Warhammer, and a relaxed delivery? As if. Consider me a new patron as of Thursday... pay day! You kick ass dude.

i just want to be able to have tools for dealing with high toughness units major demons, and fight or trade with custodes maybe one day we will in 9th we could, i pulled my punches and didnt take hammers, vs them didnt use empyric amplification ether should have. kinda wish we had those rules in 10th. i know the game had to change but some armies are definetly still more lethal, and they get all the fun toys, rerolls we used to have. heres hoping in a few more months they add some upgrades.

Well vs gsc you are not teleporting anywhere , and the inability teleport on to objectives is just death vs towering or LoS . Moving is important but what do you do if a custodes goes first, drops two units on two objectives and has one unit teleporting in. Cant shot him, cant melee him, he has those 1-2 annoying 2x2 terminators and the unit from teleport will charge quarter of the table.

Secondaries are really what makes or break a match. If you draw garbage secondaries the first few rounds its a up hill battle. Also infiltrators would screen out scout movement too. So keep that in mind

can you not set up within 9 inces of deployment? like 9th? but i got ya.

@40kDirtbags no infiltrators technically deploy before 1st turn. Scout rule takes place after deployment but before 1st turn command phase. Scout also indicates we can't perform a scout move that ends within 9inches of a enemy unit. So we need to be mindful of infiltrators as they can throw monkey wrenches into our plans. Aside from that. Very good video. 3in deployment and mists are probably the 2 best strats. Love using that in combo with my purifiers

What do you think of the GK Chaplain in this edition? The +1 to wound in melee seems great to me. My first game in 10th is in a couple days, so I haven't been able to test it yet. 5+ to wound on the toughest vehicles/monsters, 4+ to wound if T11 or lower...45 melee attacks with a 10 man pali/term squad and the Chaplain.

I'm the command phase if you control it, it's sticky. So can't TA the turn before off it

@@40kDirtbags turn one movement world eaters will be much closer than 9. Also ingress. Of course can teleport away but I’m seeing many grey knights deep strike large portions of the army into opponent backfield after sorting out their own home obj plus maybe another.

curious why would it be considered op? its cool but i wouldnt consider it a game breaker its just i can move fast or redeploy, and score thats good id rather have more tools though.
