I’m surprised that April was never homophobic given she was so religious and at first very serious about what she considered to be sexual sin. I’m glad she wasnt homophobic, just surprised though.

She just seems like the type to believe every single word that’s written in the Bible so she probably didn’t think it was right since she also was really ashamed of having sex before marriage, but she treats everyone with kindness so that’s probably why she was okay with it.

Im religious and also not homophobic. I’m mean just because I believe in god and the books it doesn’t give me a free ticket to be homophobic. So just spread love everywhere ❤

even if she did believe being gay was a sin... she was only concerned about her own sexual sin . she never shamed anyone else for having sex before marriage because she knew they had different beliefs than her. so the same would probably go for being gay.
