Greyfriars Kirkyard Edinburgh - THE MOST HAUNTED PLACE IN THE WORLD 

As you go through by the Flodden wall and turn right, to the right is the grave of Elizabeth Moodie. When you went down to the bottom if you had gone right you would have seen the grave of Thomas Riddell (Voldemort}. When you went back to the gates that was George Heriot school, the inspiration for Hogwarts. And on the wall in front of you the grave of William McGonnagal. By the main entrance, where that person was stood,is, of course, the gravestone of Greyfrairs Bobby . As you face it, about thirty metres to the right, is the grave of John Grey, his master. Outside, where Candlemakers Row and George IV Bridge meet, is the famous status of Greyfrairs Bobby.

Ohh... the story of a little Bobby just stopped my heart beating for a sec.... Best friend ever. My dog died years ago but I still miss her.... We as people don't appreciate animals enough. They deserve better life and treatment in general. Thank you for posting this episode LADmob ☺

I was here today for the first time. The covenaters prison was locked off, but I looked through the gate & I got hit with a sudden headache & felt really sick, then I walked past the tomb & had a really uneasy uncomfortable feeling. I'm not a believer in the supernatural or anything but it was so strange 👻🎃 so happy to have seen Bobby too 🐶

This is INCREDIBLE, wow 😄 just found a channel after my heart! I immediately noticed at 3:55 the markers for Cowgatehead & West Bow and my eyeballs perked up with delight - the area of the old Grassmarket! All my life I've loved the history of the UK - it's so rich with stories, tales over the ages, so to see these places like this, in what for me feels almost like real time, it's emotional for me to see these areas I immediately associate with such grand & (at times) wicked history. Such as at 3:55 - the Cowgatehead & West Bow building markers may look mundane, but 👇 "From the Cowgate, passing under George IV Bridge, via Cowgatehead, the road enters the Southeast corner of the Grassmarket. In the northeast corner of the Grassmarket are the remains of what used to be one of the most picturesque streets in Old Edinburgh, the former West Bow, now named (in part) Victoria Street. This was originally Z-shaped and gave access from the western corner of the Lawnmarket (at the foot of Castlehill), to the northeast corner of the Grassmarket. One of the more notable inhabitants of the West Bow or, more correctly, the Upper Bow, was the notorious Major Weir, or ‘Angelical Thomas’, who, like Deacon Brodie, was a man of two characters - a Covenanting soldier and one of the Godliest of men, regularly attending local Protestant prayer meetings and being accepted as a pillar of Edinburgh society. However, during an illness, and in a feverish state of mind, details of his other life became known to those who were attending him. He was hanged and burned as a witch in 1670, after he confessed to the organization of a coven, and committing crimes of the most obscene depravity, including necromancy and supernatural activities, which included witchcraft. His sister Jean was also hung because she was his partner in these black arts." So even though it was merely a corner you passed, for me it conjures up the richness and incredible stories that happened on these very spots you take us to!! And these walks are filled with awesome history at every step! I can't even get through a whole walk without pausing and looking up the history when I recognize a name or such 😄 What a delight these walking video concepts are, sharing the world through another fellow human beings eyes! 🌍👀💖

What amazes me is that these heavy headstones are hundreds of years old and they haven't sunk deeper into the ground, we have gravestones from like 1888 that sunk over a foot down here.
