Hip Hip Hooray for Fairy & Lucie & entourage!! Poor Fairy did look very unhappy & quite worried, but having been a racer, she was probably in similarly noisy situations, but she did look so worried, maybe thinking that good times were over & you were going to leave her there. My experience is that dogs have a memory span of about 2 years & as you've had her a bit less than that, I'm sure she was remembering her previous life without adventures & chicken & awesome soft beds. I noticed her looking away sometimes, esp. on the 1 minute stay & I wondered if she was looking at the exit gate, as this is how dogs point, & I thought she may have been saying, "Let's go away from here and make it like it was before." If only there was a way to tell her you would never give her up. In any case, she was terribly brave, did all that you asked (except for that ridiculously little bench, why do they have only one size?), and I'm sure her best reward was to get into her jammies, have dinner, & practice her sleeping skills, which are already prodigious. Well done all!

Fairy was amazing - she has come a long way and it is all down to the work you have done with her. I had a standard poodle who adored me and would do whatever I asked. He was as smart as paint. I still miss him.

Hurray!!!! Congratulations Fairy. I’ve had my fingers crossed and my rescue German Shepherds had their tails crossed all weekend cheering you on! I walk the therapy pup-in-training at our elementary school daily on our lunch break. He goes for his first round of tests nextweek… he’s pretty confident about it…. His mom is a bundle of nerves 😅. This takes ALOT of training- well done… To both you and Fairy! You should be proud 😊😊😊.

So proud of Fairy She behaved beautifully, just as I knew she would. It was funny to see her a little spooked by the multiple shadows! Greyhounds are the best dogs, and grey greyhounds are even better. Funny how I feel like she is somehow my own dog, I was SO looking forward to this video! Bless her❤

Is Crufts the only place to get the Good Citizen Award? For to me it looks like the worst possible place and I'd completely understand if a dog didn't behave normally with the noise, the smells, the much too small benches - and probably no grass to relieve themselves on... In France we have a similar test, CSAU, but one can take it at small outdoor shows or at special events in obedience clubs (and yes, my borzoi passed it. One of 15 since 2007...)

Fairy's behavior was exemplary as always but I think the real takeaway is that it looks like a great venue to meet women. All a fellow has to do is show up with a Pekingese and he's golden. Wait, who said that??? 😂
