Lived in Hermitage road for 20yrs. We used to spend the day there in the summer holidays. Many a happy memory. Also went to stock car racing on many occasions. Great memories! The good old days!

I was born in 80, live in Haringey. Where exactly was the race track? I'm guessing it was next to hermitage road where McDonald's and the retail park is??

I went there once 1966/67 and what I remember is I bought a very hot Walls steak & kidney pie and it was delicious. Don't remember the cars at all.

White City stadium has gone ?! That's my youth. I was born in East Acton. The White City gang used to pop over for a quick fight in 1962. White City was the whole region where they built a little white city for some big exhibition in 1908. You can find lovely photos of it.
