The fact that the first thing Bailey said when he woke up, speaks volumes about Nick's relationship with her kids. Also, that Nick's first thought wasn't to contact Meredith, it was to make sure her other kids were taken care of. It does show that Nick loves them like his own
Zola is really the only one of the kids who would have any memory of Derek. So while Meredith misses him and Zola might miss him too, the younger ones don't really have any memories of their own. Derek Bailey Sheppard was born in 2013, his dad died in 2015 so he would have only been two, Elis never met Derek she was born after he died.
@@Melted-Kuchi-kopi I think Zola was 4 or 5 when Derek died. She was 6 months old when Meredith and Derek met/started the process to adopt her in 2011. plus Zola is a child genius and there are more memories for her to hold onto Meredith and Amelia both have memories from that age, though not good ones. Amelia was traumatized by her father being shot infront of her and Meredith had to deal with her father's absence and her mother's suicide attempt though the suicide attempt she didn't remember until she met Maggie
Just because they don’t remember him doesn’t mean that they don’t wish that they had memories. It doesn’t mean that they don’t miss having a dad like their friends. I mean, in real life kids still having feelings about their parents who died when they were too young to remember them.
@@user-gu3kl3th4s You can't miss something you never had, you only miss the idea of it. Children who 'miss' their parents who died when the child was too young to remember- they aren't missing that person, they are missing the idea of that person and who everyone else claimed that person to be. often there is an expectation placed on others to feel something about someone they didn't know because 'family' A sibling that died, a parent or other relative an aunt uncle grandparent- there is often an expectation to feel something, so a child goes along with it and is moulded to feel something based on the memories of others. they care because other people care not because it is what they naturally feel for that person. If attention isn't drawn to the absence of a parent and the child has no memory of a life with two parents, then no they don't miss 2 parents because that isn't the life they know. Elis wouldn't miss Derek's presence because she never had him in the first place, Derek JR [bailey] wouldn't overly miss Derek because he was a toddler and Derek spent months before his death gone from home so it was normal for him not to be there. Zola is the only child who might miss Derek because she would be old enough to have some memory of his presence. Zola is adopted and there has been no mention of her missing or having any feelings about her biological parents, she didn't know them and has no memory of them. Derek and Meredith are the only parents she has known
Cada um tem o seu pensamento, e respeito. Mas, gosto mais do Nick, ele apoia e não se preocupa em superar Meredith, o personagem Derek não era assim, demonstrava insegurança e se preocupa com o sucesso dela.
I disagree with both of you. Derek wasn't always dreamy on the inside but if you think about it.He cared for Meredith so muchI mean he knew she didn't want to get married so he did the post it for her.He always always made up a way for them. Nick doesn't care about Meredith the way Derek did. As much as I love Nick he's no Derek. Nick wouldn't do anything from Meredith like Derek would or DeLuca for that matter, I mean I think DeLuca was a better match for Meredith then Nick will ever be.
@@MariaHeathman I disagree Nick moved three times for Mer . Derek was making Mer move for him Boston and dc . Derek but my down so many times it was always about him. You can love Derek all you want . I prefer Nick over Derek .
@@marissaklein303 Thats true derek did try to make mer move to dc but he didnt. He ended up moving back to seattle for mer. if you remember the secne when he came home and what he said to mer. He appologized for everything. no one will ever love mer the way derek did.
Shonda needs to bring Derek back from the dead. 😭 I miss my MerDer so much. Can't stand seeing Mer with Nick but I want her with Riggs or Hayes after Derek. Riggs should be Mer's endgame not Nick. Sorry. ✌🏻 But we need a MERDER Reunion with the kids riding a ferryboat before Meredith leave Grey's Anatomy. Please Shonda make it happen!! 😭😭😭
Bruh...I thought Riggs was gonna be it! I was so upset when they put him back together with Megan. & same with Hayes!!! Like the TWO BEST options for her and they both left. Don't get me wrong, I like Nick, but sometimes I feel like they're trying to make him too much like Derek.
Respeito a opinião de todos. Mas, Derek precisava sair da vida da Meridith, com ele não chegaria onde chegou. Derek, inconscientemente a bloqueava. Acho o casal atual melhor.. Mas, ficará sozinha, não por causa do Derek, mas porque tem traços egoístas, enfim é um gênio e pessoas assim, tem dificuldade com parceiros.
Honestly, this is a really shitty scene. She completely dismisses the one who really helped her kids - Nick, and only acknowledges Webber. Meredith needs a reality check or she's going to burn bridges she won't like having gone.
