We stayed in this hotel one time, and our experience was slightly different than yours. We were in the very back building on the top of the hill so our entrance was actually exterior. It was not easy to get to the front so we ended up driving down the hill and parking next to the office most days. Because our room had an exterior entrance we ended up with some bugs in the room, often because housekeeping would leave our door open when cleaning our room. I did like the room and the balconies and the price was decent. I did ask at the front desk and (pro tip) they said if you ask for building 1 or 2 you won't be on the hill, so if we did it again that's what I would request. I would probably consider this hotel again if we could be in building 1 or 2, but anything else and I would hard pass on this one.
This is similar to when I stayed at that hotel in Pigeon Forge that we left after 5 minutes. People in the comments said "you should have stayed at the rooms in the back". A GREAT hotel has GREAT rooms regardless of where you stay. Appreciate the feedback and hope people will always ask for buildings 1 or 2.
We stay at the Greystone at least once and usually twice a year. Love it and have never had a negative experience there after over ten years . They have a "Loyal Lodger" program for repeat customers that gives you the best rate they offer and each time we stay they give us a voucher for an additional $ 10.00 off our next visit. We stay on the first floor of building C always in a king bed room and love the indoor parking. Highly recommend.
I know that area. Went to the aquarium. Paid 10 dollars for parking for the entire day. Walked the entire town. Saw the trolly stop plus their admin office too.
my husband and i stayed in september 2021 and it was wonderful. we didn't move our car for two days. we love no way jose and first time my husband stayed in gatlinburg he loved how close we were to everything. will definitely stay there again. we loved the breakfast too we had it both days we stayed.
Great balcony, 2nd floor is nice, up but low enough to hear water. 🌊 Were the balcony 💺chairs comfortable? That is where I would spend a lot of my time.
Here we go! Ive been looking for this one. I like it. I will have to remember the balcony situation. We love sitting on the balcony and watching the creek and I dispise ones with a parking lot view. Nice and thorough review. Good job! What condo place is Miranda talking about? I've looked at so many of those and have never booked because I didn't know anyone that had actually used a condo. We had planned on staying with our kids in a cabin around the 23rd and going to the Vols game. I have hernia surgery 8 days before and it's all paid for already. They will be going even if I can't. They want me to just stay in the cabin but I'm not sure about climbing stairs. I may have to miss this trip.
Oh that would be a huge bummer, but stairs can be devastating to someone who is struggling with a physical ailments. Condo is Baskins Creek Condos. If you search Smokies Plus Baskins Creek it will come up.
I 100 percent agree, I always have a better hotel experience in Pigeon Forge or even Sevierville. Thank you for this fantastic review, we have wanted to go there for years and this helped us make our decision. God Bless brother.
I want you to know how much I appreciate your comments. It's been a rough go lately on the ol RU-vid. Channel and views were growing and then we hit a wall. I appreciate anyone who consistently comments. I know that cannot always be the case, but I wanted you to know it means a lot.
I want to truly thank you...times have been bad here in my clan. We have had a lot of sickness and your videos have helped us live through you when we can't be there. Thank you brother for all you do. God has gifted you with a true anointing. As always you an your family are in our prayers. See you soon bro.
1995. Was thrilled especially with location. Went back in October 2010 because said had updated ... as soon as walked in left and asked for refund( which thankfully they gave us ). It smelled like a Febreze factory and was very dingy.
Hi, your video helped us to our booking. Thank you. Is aneeksta walking distance? Like can we park in the hotel and walk to aneeksta. How is the breakfast.
@@SmokiesPlus thanks we have booked from 26th to 30 th March. Thank you so much. Is astra lumina worth seeing. Can we complete aneeksta and astra lumina in one day?
Yes! Well worth it and easy to do both in a day. Make sure to buy tickets for Astra Lumina in advance. Earlier the better because the line gets very long later in evening
@@SmokiesPlus we loved it. Room was big even with king size bed and location was great being close to Anekeesta and other shops/ restaurants. Also price is really good
Bob thank you for this review my wife and I are staying at the greystone in mid October 2022 and we were hoping someone would do a current review. Great video thanks again..
