I lost my dad in 2021 and mum then in 2023 I can grieve properly as I don’t want to believe there not here. I had a very close relationship with them especially my mum she was my best friend. I’m crying writing this. Sending loving wishes to you and your family Debbie Aberdeen Scotland UK xxx

I am not enjoying motherhood or marriage. I’m burnt out. I got married young to escape my bad childhood and now at almost 40, I’m working through my trauma and healing while trying to hold together a marriage with a husband who also had a traumatic childhood. I don’t know if we’ll make it some days. The stress of parenting while working on ourselves is tough. I’ve always enjoyed your channel over the years.

Going through this my husband and I tried for 7 months for our first baby. We found out we were expecting in June 3rd few weeks later I started bleeding and lost our baby June 28th. During the miscarriage the Lord said May I take her for my glory? We felt the presence of the Lord. I was 8.5 weeks pregnant when I lost our baby Hope. God has comforted me we will try again for a living child. ❤

I am not here as often as I was, but I saw the title from your video and I clicked immediatly. My dad died 4 years ago and my mom 2 years ago. I moved 10 months ago to the other side of the country to live closer to my sister, because of my health issues. I left behind a few great friends, a wonderful church community, the town where I had lived most of my life and a house where I had lived for 25 years. In the passed year I thought regularly about a video from you when you still lived in North Carolina. I lost my mom eight days ago. She had cancer but declined very quickly and I thought we had more time… I don’t get on RU-vid much anymore, but happened to get on today and see this video. Thank you! I am a busy mom working mom, too busy to have friends, so I put on a RU-vid video of another mom while I clean my house Saturdays kind of like having a friend in my kitchen . It keeps my motivation up and helps me ignore how lonely I really am. I appreciate you!

The night before she past, when i left to go home, i hugged her goodnight and she hugged me again really tight and thanked me for always helping her is my solace. My mama was my best friend, the hardest worker, the monarch of our family. I miss her every day, but know God has given her a new body with no more pain. That eases my grief. Love your videos. I know the grieving journey is difficult but God makes ALL THINGS (even our losses and heartache) work together for good… I have to hold on to that, and some days it’s hard to do. These last few years have been rough. So much loss and it comes one after another. BUT God has been drawing me closer to Him as I seek Him for comfort that only He can provide. You have been such an instrument for Him to reach me. Your gentle presence and the power of consistently showing and sharing His love and His word, is such a blessing. I follow a lot of folks on RU-vid but there are a handful I don’t let pile up to catch up with later. I feel a special pull to certain folks, and you are one of them. The first videos I watch are typically your Daily Chapter and then your daily vlogs. It’s a part of my day that gets me out of my head and encourages me to take the next step or sometimes the next breath. Thank you for following His guidance and for being consistent. Again your video was here at the time I really needed it. My sister recently passed away after a year of rough times. I helped care for her and now I’m a little lost. She was seventy and had a good life, but still seems too soon. Thank you for your words today, they are comforting to me.

Even though I didn’t know all the details of what you were struggling with, I could visibly see God working in you and through you. I could see you working out your salvation. Hi, Amy. Thank you for sharing. My mom passed away in 2016 and my dad in 2019. I’m still processing grief,it shows up in different ways through the days, months and years. When both my parents passed, I was 60 years old. I felt like an orphan. I was like you, at first I held myself together for my family, it’s just the last few years that it seems to me, I’m still grieving and I figured out it was OK. I just try to remember the good times together, with love and laughter. Your channel has been a very positive moment everyday. Blessings to you and your family.

Sometimes I get so frustrated, I've said, "God where are you?" 😢 You know I need you so badly! But He usually comes through, eventually. Sometimes it takes sooo long. We need to be more patient sometimes. It won't be in our time ....never, ever! It will be in His time only. Sometimes it's just in the nick of time. But he'll always make it. I have a growth on my stomach that when I sit up for very long I can’t breathe. The doctors don’t know what it is. They were more worried about my oral cancer. This has been going for three years. Thank you for this video. I lost my mom, dad, and my sweet dog and life has not been the same. I almost died during a routine hysterectomy. I also went thru breast cancer twice, radiation the first time, total mastectomy and chemo the second. I didn't see my oldest daughter for 3 years (she lives across the country) due to my delicate treatment and Covid. Financial distress, worry and fear have consumed me. Also most recently lost a dear friend to breast cancer. After my dad passed suddenly, I was angry and upset with God. I'm better with that now, almost 7 years later. Not that I'm not still sad, but I'm grateful to still be blessed in so many ways.

Hi Amy. Thank you for sharing. We all need encouragement and guidance through life at some point. Some of the things you said hit home. With that said, thank God for pressing upon your heart to speak on what you did in today's video. It's helped me greatly.

Amy, you know what? I am Christian, and it is still a part of my life even though at, almost 52, I am not and haven't been for decades, an active church goer. My faith doesn't mean any less to me. I think it's smart to listen to that inner voice that says, I will not separate these things "just for YT". A lot of people here are religious in some way shape or form and they will understand as long as it's a part of you but it's not front and central ALL the time. I understand.. It's just who you are, and you do not need to hide it from anybody.

I don't grieve anymore. When a loved one who was a wonderful person passes, I find myself immediately telling God thank you for taking them at the perfect time, on his time. He knows what their path would have been here and we don't. I think he saves the good ones from the bad they couldn't have bared. They were blessed with peace. What more could I want for them.

The greatest pain was when my dad just didn’t wake up on May 14th… Sometimes it feels like as soon as I can catch my breath, another wave crashes on me. I know God has a plan. I know to trust him. What a beautifully and inspiring video. It can very well be hard to accept that where we are is exactly where God wants us to be, no matter how bad the trials are. I try my best to do this when the chips are down but like all of us, I can falter and get scared. I also try and live in a state of gratefulness but this isn’t always easy either. I’m in ACS and I have different political and social viewpoints on things. I like people. People are fascinating. I tend to do content and more problematic people who disrupt things and not in a good way, but I look for responsible, thoughtful people. I may not resonatewith your connection to God, I may not connect with that as a matter of interest, but I can’t appreciate you for being you. So I’m gonna stay subscribed and I will watch where I can and when I can if that’s OK. Thank you.

It’s been three years with my situation and I’m still waiting for god to show me what to do but it’s not happening.

I was reminded a few days ago about what trusting God and trusting in God meant. It means to have absolute faith that He will do things in HIS way and time, NOT mine. Often I’ve watched your Blessings video and have had to take a step back and think about what you’ve said and what the scriptures say. It helps me to have a different perspective, thus enables me to appreciate His words. So carry on what you do, we might have different faith, but we both believe in the Divine Father and the Son and that’s the main thing. Often, before life got hectic for me, I watched your cleaning motivation videos, I have had to pause while you’re doing laundry so that I can crack on with mine. Or pause when you’re cleaning up the kitchen, so that I can do mine. It gives me a sense of accomplishment to sit and watch you cleaning away knowing I’ve finished mine! 😂😂😂 You rock Amy, just stay true to yourself.
