My favorite book for grief: Resilient Grieving: How to Find Your Way Through a Devastating Loss (Finding Strength and Embracing Life After a Loss that Changes Everything) by Lucy Hone amzn.to/3Qkan25
It's common for people to hear or see or smell or feel a lost loved one or pet. This doesn't mean you're going crazy. But, it's so unusual, it can be unsettling.

" grief feels a lot like fear" . " Grief is love with nowhere to go ". I've had these hallucinations but I don't believe they were hallucinations. After my girls died ( cats ) I would catch glimpses of them everywhere in my apartment where they resided with me and I would feel them jumping up on the bed like they use to before. I had one dream about each cat and in both those dreams it was them letting me know they were fine and me saying goodbye and how much I loved them. As time goes by it gets less and less but still once in awhile I still catch a glimpse but it's very quick. I really do believe that our dead loved ones do visit from time to time and sometimes it can be in a dream. Call me nuts if you wish but that is what I believe. Thank you for your video I'm glad to hear that I'm not having a phycosis. ❤

Thanks for your comment. After my last dog died, a couple of times I heard her walk from the other end of the house (dog nails on the hardwood floors) all the way to the end I was in. Sad to hear her and not have her. I still miss her.

@@wellnesswithjon So sorry for your loss. I believe she's still watching over you visits you now and then. We will always miss them and they will forever be in our hearts. Maybe you could give another dog a home if it's possible for you. I adopted another cat a male this time, only because he needed me. I wasn't looking plus he's full grown 2 years of age but I did dream of him before I found him. Even though I still miss my girls a lot I find that he's a blessing. Our pets are like family and much more. Thank you so much for sharing with me. I hope more people will come upon your video and share their stories. Love and peace to you and yours Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year.

I feel him in bed. Then realize he’s not there. I have even gotten out of bed to look for him cause I heard him in the kitchen. We were married for 42 years and miss him so. It’s getting better though

My heart goes out to you. Get support. Get good informal support from family and friends as you can. Get a good therapist. You might want to check out the book: Resilient Greiving by Lucy Hone. She's an expert about grief and she writes not just as an academic or therapist but as a person who experienced her own devastating loss of her young daughter. Healing and forgiveness are possible though not quick. I wish you very good support. A path through this may not be clear or seem possible. But, we humans are good at being confused and doing the impossible. Blessings.

Hello, what if a person lost someone and was told about it but their mind refused to belief it so they continue seeing the person who passed and communicated with them. If other people seen what was going on from a outside perspective and thought it would be better to not tell them because it would cause a complete psyche breakdown, could the person having see the hallucination of the person age with them and possibly take on some of their personality traits? Also would the person start waking up to the reality and kinda like what Elliot was expiriencing in Mr robot? Sorry for the long winded question but this has been something thats been itching my mind for a while.

The short answer: the person would likely benefit from seeing a competent therapist in order to place the relationship the living person is having with the dead person in the context of living a healthy life.

My grandmother died when I was 6. The day after she died she came to me in my room and had to tell me who she was because the voice was a much younger sounding person. Was that a hallucination?

Not hallucinations at all. They are real.
