Παραδοσιακό κυπριακό χαλλουμι νοστιμότατο!! Πιο κυπριακό δεν γίνεται! Cypriot halloumi cheese! You have to taste it! Believe me is incredibly tasty! Yummy ❤️❤️❤️
Here's some info: 1: The grilled cheese is called Kefalograviera, though outside of Greece is usually called Kefalotyri, it's usually cut a lot thinner and grilled, in London Halloumi is also very popular because of the Cypriot population. 2: This is not street food, it's probably a festival of some kind since the cooking is done and managed by "The Athenian" a U.K based Greek restaurant chain. 3: London is known for their crappy Greek food, as a Greek I couldn't find a decent Souvlaki anywhere, all of them dry and tasteless, the Greek food there is really really bad, it actually made me pretty mad, I mean you're suppose to be representing Greece outside of the country, for some reason they forgot that you have to marinade the meat before cooking and don't get me started on what they consider Gyro there, the biggest issue was that the Greek population there is so assimilated they don't even recall what real Greek food taste like. If you're looking to eat well prepared non British tasty foods in London, I would stick to Asian foods (Chinese, Indian, Thai), unlike the Greeks they got their foods on lockdown.
Kefalograviera is a "fusion", or hybrid, of Kefalotiri and Graviera, not an alias for Kefalotiri. Also, according to the guy, he's grilling Talagani, a version of Halloumi made in mainland Greece.
i think its Haloumi or maybe Talagani by the looks of it. also naming something as Kaseri is a bit hard to understand for someone from northen greece as everything similar to a yellow cheese we call them kaseri most of the times :P
what a waste, after all that, the guy serving, messe up the whole package and image, messy, dirty, and the chicked are still stock, in the serving box, yukkkkk, cardboard bin box
on chicken suvlaki..evrything is wrong ..frist is frozen...and she puttin on grill.. with 10kg riggano!! so wrong ... learn too cook ppl..and after upload on internet!! :P
Wondered who else spotted the frozen kebabs, bought from a wholesaler and just thrown on the grill. No wonder they are smiling. When buying street food look for FRESH FRESH FRESH.
ACTUALLY THESE ARE GREEK DISHES. TURKISH PEOPLE ARRIVED INTO THE MEDITERRANEAN AS NOMADS. THEY ATE HORSES AND DRANK MARES MILK. WHEN THEY SETTLED, THEY COPIED THE CUISINES, MUSIC, AND ARCHITECTURE. THE ROOT OF EVERYTHING IN THE AREA IS GREEK AND PERSIAN.
