He’s right BBQGuys rocks. My contractor is taking forever to finish my outdoor kitchen. I ordered all my stuff from BBQGuys to make sure I’d have it in time for the outdoor kitchen build. My only complaint with BBQGuys is they shipped the stuff way quicker than I expected, and now I’m having to store it in my garage until the outdoor kitchen is built. 😛
+Ballistic BBQ Its a Beast Greg. It gets HOT!. Those heavy grates hold heat almost forever. I now see why they don't offer the searing burner option to interchange with the Pro series cooking burners. The flame tamer/vaporizer plates glow dark cherry red when the burners are on high flame setting. My Grand childrens kids will be using this grill long after I'm gone
+Smoky Ribs BBQ & Southern Cuisine This sumbitch get HOT! I mean really Hot! On high it'll have them three 304 grade vaporizer plates glowing dull orange, they're 1/8" thick too. Blaze claims a 3 burners add up to 54,000 BTU, I think its hotter than that. My Laser don't go above 800, Your a welder. Do you have a SS color temp chart?
No, I don't have a chart. We shoot for a gold color when we weld stainless steel. If it starts turning blue then it's getting a little to warm, when it turns gray, you just don't know how to weld stainless, lol! You can probably find a color chart online though
All the Blaze accessories and grills are the bomb, you are going to enjoy that for a long time man, Id be lying if I didnt admit i was envious! enjoy that bad boy!
+BigMeat Sunday This Grill cooks HOT! I mean real HOT! I now see why they don't offer the searing burner option to interchange with the Pro series cooking burners. +Garnett M. I'm sick and tired of replacing parts, This one has a lifetime Warranty on the housing grates & burners. Built from 304 grade SS I dought they will ever need replacing. The wheel may wear out, but that would take over 25 years
+Louisiana Cajun Recipes (007bondjb) That's a good one our steel pile at the dump has so many people buy new ones use them for the summer then turf them cause they don't winter well I got a Nat.gas and converted it boy sure nice .
I have one of these grills. They are really well built for me they don’t cook very well. I call it the incinerator. The are very difficult to control heat. Constant flare ups.Weber’s that I have owned in the past are not as well built but cook way better.
Dang JB, there isn't anything about that Blaze grill I don't like. If I hadn't purchased a Saber IR grill last year I would definitely be getting one of these. Can't wait to check them all out at this year's Spring Fling!
Hey JB….. You got it! Way to Go…… That thing is Badass!!!! All Stainless everything, built to last! I'm very excited for You. Can't wait to see You utilize all the options that thing has. Right on! After We last talked about Stainless grills, I picked up an all Stainless smoker. It's tough to Video, with the sun shining. Besides that…. it Rocks!
Great looking grill JB. I'm a coonass from Houma living in the mountains of Virginia. I bought the Blaze kamado from the BBQ guys, and love the thing. I think when I am ready for a gas grill I'll know where to look. I love your videos man, ever think about making one on tarte a la bouille, king cake, or most importantly boudin? (Man I miss boudin almost as much as crawfish).
Wow, I'm not partial to gas grills but that is a beauty! I am toying with the idea of getting an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill though. That way I can have a different venue to film from just to change things up on occasion.
+Daddy Cooks Wish I had the room for an Outdoor Kitchen. I did notice they will help you design your Out D Kit for free. Check out their web site, Tell em JB sent Ya
No problems at all, Just keep the burners, vaporizer plates, drip tray and other internal parts clean. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o4hJEz-Sauc.html
Even the burners are cast stainless?? That's one helluva fine setup, Uh-Boy!! I've wondered once in a while, whatever happened to the online blues band. Seems like it was a one hit wonder. The *late* John L?? Where do you get your giraffe skin? My source dried up, and I've had a hankering for some giraffe chips.
+Anonymoose Those Cast SS H burners are about 10lbs each. John died over a year ago, we recorded & uploaded 2 songs, We were working on the 3rd one when he died. Giraffe skin is sold on EBay, Lol
+Louisiana Cajun Recipes (007bondjb) I guess I was out of the loop. I never heard. It's sad to lose a fellow RU-vidr, especially a talented musician. I'll check eBay. :-P
I watched your video about two hours ago, and I meant to leave you a comment, but somehow, I forgot. Anyway, Really nice looking grill, and those grates looked like they were made to last . Man, it's like a magic box, put meat in , and it's magically delicious. But anyway, we definitely love our new toys and cooking accessories don't we . That's really cool, and definitely looks heavy duty. Have A Great Grilling Day My Friend JB.
+Sneak 66 It runs on house electricity, but could be converted to 12V battery power. The rotisserie motor runs on 120VAC, Its so strong I cant even Slow it Down by hand. Also cant hear it running, others rotisserie motors are noisy and weak.
That grill is a beast, great purchase JB and like you said your grandkids kids will even be using that sumbitch and for the price you get what you pay for a high quality product that will last forever. I think the price is a bit steep but then again thats not a bargain grill from wally world there thats a pro commercial line grill. Looking forward to all the vids coming from you cooking on that bad boy. Over all so far whats your opinion, serious opinion on the grill? Is it worth the cost?
+Chris W Thanks Chris, Honest opinion? I've kept up my older cheap grills but as stated some parts are no longer available, If you know to weld & can fabricate your own parts a cheap grill could hang on a few extra years. That gets to be a hassle, I'm getting older now & don't want fiddle fart with that anymore. They no longer make grates for 2 of my old grills, so, I had to either buy a cheap universe grate or find a good larger grate & cut it fit. Back in the 60's & 70's they didn't have grills with Lifetime Warranty's! If they did I would have saved $$$$'s on grills & parts. Their are very few that come with lifetime Warranty's on high wear parts today. The ones that do cost almost twice that much as this Blaze. Other points are I liked having 2 size grills & smokers, one small & one large of each . The small ones use less fuel, then when needed for larger cooks I had more cooking area on the larger units. This blaze has removable burner heat isolators that are ideal for direct & indirect cooking zones, or using less fuel with only burner lit for 2 or 3 steaks. So now I don't need 2 grills, but 2 smokers is handy when needed. The ceramic cookers are good, they use less fuel than a WSM but, how many butts will one hold? A 22 WSM will do 6 butts, they cost 400 bucks. My offset cost the same & will hold 10 butts easy, its gonna use the same amount fuel for anything loaded into it... Bottom line, if you want a grill thats gonna last more than your lifetime? Its gonna cost more up front... Too bad they don't make vehicles like that huh?
Thanks for the great and informative response JB, been looking for a new grill for this summer since my current one has seen better days and like you said they end up needing parts etc, mine isn't even 3 years old yet and needs pretty much all new parts and they aren't cheap and been hard to find. Still can't make up my mind on which one I want been considering the blaze, and have my eye on the weber genesis 330, has great reviews and its about $850.00 but I really don't wanna be buying another grill anytime soon so thinking about just spending the money, just having the lifetime warranty is worth it. That's for sure lol if they made cars like that would be amazing especially with the price on parts these days.
+Chris W The Weber Genesis EP-330 Premium Propane Gas Grill is a good bang for the buck but... Its not All made with 304 grade SS materials. The blaze & other Pro grills are, they are made for adverse weather conditions. Such as an outdoor kitchen at the beach with a constant salt spray. Salt Will corrode lesser grades of SS...
JB...... Keep me in mind if ya ever out grow that baby....She is a beaut Clark. I seen the web sight, yikes $$$. But you do live where ya can grill all year long. ;-( I had a grill that lasted 8--10 years . until shit broke and could not find parts for it. Dmm I miss that grill.
+ANlMATED BANTER Yes mine can be converted from LP to NG, It came with the jets to do so. However when ordering you can specify which fuel it will be ready to fire up with.
hey boy,,,,luvly little new toy u got there----i know how good they cook,,,chef tony did some steaks for us last year,,,,terry swears it was the best she ever had,,,,,but i got a question for you----with as much btu's they put out,,,,does that mean that bottle of gas is gonna run out a lot quicker,,,jus sumthin i been thinkin about wit these grills,,,,i know they gotta be lot more efficient----jus askin ur opinion on this
+keith bettag Blaze claims 18,000BTU per burner But I suspect its higher than that. This Grill cooks HOT! I mean real HOT! I now see why they don't offer the searing burner option to interchange with the Pro series cooking burners. The flame tamer/vaporizer plates glow dark cherry red when the burners are on high flame setting, Thats over 1000 deg's. My Grand childrens kids will be using this grill long after I'm gone... I cooked on low, Thats all that was needed I cleaned the grates after on high but it only took 5 mins to make white ash on the grate surface
Very nice grill,$3700 after the 20% off is way out of my price range,Looks like it should last a lifetime though. Whats next JB.. That JUNE computerized oven that calls you on a smart phone when the food is done? Hi tech BOY!
own this grill. Purchased the LP built in version last year. When it rains it leaks water from the seam at the front of the lid and straight down into the drip pan. This creates a huge mess and its impossible to clean without spilling it all over the deck and yourself as you need to tip the drip pan to remove it. I called the company and they said nothing could be done to avoid this other than to keep it covered. This is a terrible design flaw and unacceptable for a grill at this price. It would have been easy to fix if they made the lid overlap that seam or had a different drip pan design. Choose something else.
@@TheSixer211 The problem with that solution is if you are grilling and it starts to rain, then a cover is not an option. I had a Weber Genesis for 10 years, never covered it and it never had any issues. I still use it at my vacation cabin. It’s a design flaw. Otherwise its a nice grill, but overpriced in my opinion.
It's a shame, two to three years ago was the "golden era" of RU-vid cooking videos. People made videos because they loved to cook, or loved to experiment with the camera gear. Now, it's a paid sponsored video on every single channel. From Troy shucking and jiving for a butcher that not a single New Yorker would even considering to give a dollar to, now we have JB giving into this garbage. I'd rather pay a few bucks a month to the channels I enjoy, and know that they aren't infomercials for garbage products. As a life long NYC resident, I can assure you that no one, and I mean no one outside of 80 year old neighborhood residents gives Lobels a nickle. I have my problems with Yelp, but use that as a reference point. There needs to be a way where the quality channels are compensated so that they don't need to do nonsense like this. And don't forget to leave hateful comments about my children on my videos like the last time I brought this up on Lobel Troy's page
+Viva Jalapeno My Grandkids children will be using this grill long after I'm gone. My old cheap Gasser cost me 10 times what it cost new to keep operational for 15 years. Now its frame is shot & they no longer sell parts for it...
+Fishaholic77 BTW if you use the link in this vids description box, You waill save 20% on your purchase. Correct, this is a premium Pro grill. Its Bad ASS
O Man ! Please do not start pimping commercials ! That all i see here. Noreen's kitchen started this shit! I do not watch her videos anymore. She use to be the bomb!
+Charlie Briggs Its my New grill & I'm just letting folks Know that I think its the best grill money can buy. Its definitely the best grill I've ever owned. Let me add, The folks were Friendly & Knowledgeable about there products. As I stated in the video: Try asking Amazon or Home Depot to let you try out a grill BEFORE buying it, Boy!
