Try a waffle croque monsieur! Some ham and cheese in the middle, then pull it out of the waffle iron, dip it in the egg mix and toss it in a pan to fry it to golden. Get some nice marmalade to dip it in. That sounds bomb I'd love to see how it turns out!

Try stuffing it with spicy Italian sausage and diced sweet peppers and onions next 😋.

Try chocolate in the middle, a nice waffle with melted chocolate oozing out of the middle with some whip cream or ice cream. Sounds perfect to cool off from a hot day or a nice cheat meal.

We make cheese tapioca waffle here and the kids love it. The texture is different but it tastes super good in my opinion hahaha we do one egg, 3 spoons of tapioca flour, about 1-2 spoons of any cheese - we usually use the Mexican shredded one, a really full spoon of cottage cheese and a pinch of salt.

Pie filling, like cooked apples with spices or even just canned cherries or blueberries or something else sweet!

Has anyone else made pizza sandwiches where you chop pepperoni into bits,and mix it with mozzarella, and pizza sauce then on pan pour the cheese and push the sides inward to make a square bread shape, let the bottom get a crust and then flip it over really quick to that it doesnt lose the shape, and then just make it into q sandwich with two pieces of toasted bread with pizza sauce spread on them

As a Filipino, should try it with Filipino spaghetti like the spag sandwich we love as kids. Lol Idk if that would work though. Might not be enough filling for it to feel like the spag sandwich.

What if you try chocolate and some sort of dried fish/dried seaweed? Sweet rich chocolate with a sharp salty kick. Or play it safer with pork floss or bacon instead of seafood hehe. I made a bacon cheeseburger on French toast and threw powdered sugar and maple syrup all over it. Ate it with a fork and knife, of course. It tasted amazing but I had a bit of a tummy ache afterwards. Totally worth it, though. Side note: I am totally and unapologetically against American cheese...and yes, I'm American. It's inferior to every cheese that doesn't feel like chewing on plastic.
