Your shawarma looks great but it definitely has a Desi/Indian twist with the Garam Masala, Tandoori Masala you added to the marinade and later the garlic chili sauce you spread on the bread. Interesting twists on a Middle Eastern classic but definitely a huge deviation from the original.

I tried and everyone loved it... especially the tahini sauce seems plain but whnn u actually taste it its perfect combination of sour and spicy...also the spiciness depends on the amount of black pepper you add....the spices in the chicken marinate gives rich taste... - Marinate: 3 chicken fillets strip, 2 tbsp yoghurt, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp garam masala, 2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp coriander, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp ginger powder, 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix well and cover for an hr - salad: 1 cup slice onions, 1 cup carrot juliene - tahini sauce: 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 tsp lemon juice, tbsp sesame seeds, 1 tsp vinegar, garlic , oil, pinch salt, black pepper, blend - tsp oil, fry the marinated chicken strips 5 minutes each side - assemble and butter up

Made this with a teaspoon of cornflour, little less chilli and an extra spoonful of yoghurt. It was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend making both the chicken and tahini sauce. My family loved both.
