Man you are great at presenting recipes. Always very detailed and the recap is perfect. You make it all so simple. I can easily sit on your channel for an hour or two just watching your videos
In Houston (or south Texas really) just go to a Mexican grocery/butcher and ask for "fajitas arracheras" - Bam! hanger steak. Super good! If you want to step up your fajita game, marinate some of this!
Down here in South Texas the heart of the valley you can get them arracherras aka hanging tenders for $4.99 a pound and sometimes you can get them at $3.99 a pound just open up a bud light squeeze some lemon on those hanging tenders season with salt and pepper and pour the beer over them let them sit for a few minutes and throw them on the grill and let the magic happen cheers Malcolm you're a meat genius
Smoked hanger steak and mushrooms last night for the first time. I followed your recipe to the letter. While my steak was choice and not prime, it was one of the best tastiest pieces of meat I have eaten. This is absolutely a killer recipe.
My bbq is famous in my circle since watching your channel. Meat is to expensive to make mistakes. How about a video on smoked jerky. I appreciate the time you take to educate us on quality recipes. Your green beans are off the hook!.....
Finally got me some Killer Hogs BBQ sauce and rubs. Made some Chicken thighs last night on the weber and man do I love the taste. I am impressed with your products and your sauce is awesome! Not to spicy and a little sweet. Thanks Malcom for all you do. My cabinet will be full of your products now. Can't wait for some brisket or pork shoulder to try.
Also Malcom, have you ever considered a behind the scenes type video? I'm sure everyone else would love to see your cookers and how they're each different, as well as some equipment that you use! Love the channel
In Chicago we have Mariano’s Grocery store and they sell them for approx $6.99 to $8.99 a lb... usually 2 lbs grill them up with some pasta on side and salad... dinner done in under 20 min.
Thanks for showing how simple removing the tendon is. I've never had an issue with it, but a bunch of videos I've watched on hanger steak make it seem like they're performing open heart surgery.
Wow, this is a keeper of a video! You’re barbecuing is not only outstanding, but the whole production is visually top notched. Thank you for posting, my friend!
Why do you only have 271.000 subs? This Channel is amazing! I love to cook at home and i’m learning how to do it right here! Your amazing man Keep up the good work!😁
Hey, Malcolm, been following you for a while and learn so much from your videos. On Monday, I placed an order for the Grilla Kong Kamado Grill. Thanks for the recommendation.
I can only imagine your neighbors either love you or hate you. Love that you are cooking and smoking those meats and sharing with them, or hate that your cooking and smoking and not sharing! LOL
This steak is a muscle that helps support the diaphragm, between the rib and loin kinda. It’s similar to flank steak or fajita. It’s a good one. Thanks for the video! ✌️
Seen a bunch of hanger steak video recently and have never had this type of steak. I think I might have to try this out immediately when I get back home from deployment.
Understand I know this is an old video but just wanted to let you know my birthday was March 28th this year so we decided to try the hanger steak from Matadorit turned out great we also did a side-by-side comparison between Matador prime steak and Lobels prime steak both were hanger steaks to my surprise and to my family surprise matadors won hands down. Now don't get me wrong both steak companies produce really really good steak but Matadors absolutely hands down won this particular competition.
I didn’t know hangar steak was actually a cut of meat. There is a restaurant in town that does hanger steak and I just thought it was a name they gave to their menu item. It’s the only place I’ve ever heard of it. It’s so good. I’m going to have to get some. Seems easy enough on the grill!
