Poison based traps are designed to kill slowly, that way the mice/rats suspect no danger and bring it back to other mice/rats to poison them too. Owls aren't the only innocent creatures to accidently get poisoned by eating said mice/rats, so so switch to more humane traps. Traps that kill quickly and don't harm other creatures.

We had a stray cat around here. We're not a family that could house a cat, many allergies and astma. So he was a stray. But he really meant a lot to me and my family. Then we had a mice problem. And somebody poisoned the mice. And he ate either the poison, or a poisoned mice. We gave him milk (yeah I know, milk is not good for cats, but it's more that we wanted to spoil him in his last moments and maybe get him to drink something so he can vomit), he vomited. He would have survived if only we made sure he can't get out of the building. But we didn't think about that back then, later my dad was very angry at himself for that. But Mietek was a stray cat, and he wouldn't just stay in the corridor, even if he had food and water there. He went out. I came from school to learn he was too slow to dodge a car and my parents already buried him. That cat meant a lot to me, we'd sit together on a stone wall next to neighbour's garden and we'd just stay together like that, me petting him. He learned that if I came close to that wall, he'd hop on it and ask for pets. Don't use poison, everyone

Every time I watch your videos I tell myself:" you are a grown up adult. you can take that". And after every Loving reaper Video i sit here in tears or even crying. They just meet the right tone and feelings.

I remember the day I was told we had to put my dog Norman down. He was so sweet, and I remember being asked if I wanted to be taken out of school to have more time, and I said no. I shouldn’t have said no… an hour to be with my dog wasn’t enough at all. I’m trying to not cry right now, and I’m failing miserably😅 I love you Norman. My grandfather knows the pain of burying a child all too well, his son my uncle mixed prescription drugs with alcohol and died just weeks after his 21st birthday, this past week I too could have been seeing Death just days before my little brother's birthday my friend was moving out of her ex's place and his father learned that I was right outside and told my friend that if I got any ideas of coming in he wouldn't hesitate to try and kill me, I thought to myself after that Is that where my story could have ended, is this the day I could have lost my life protecting someone I love Thankfully Death and a higher power decided my time was not over yet and I left with my friend very much alive, as far as the father's little threat I would have gladly stared down at him and urge him to prove that he was being serious because like I always say I don't fear Death I embrace it, in due time I believe karma will make him pay for the hell he put my friend through.

This is having me in tears, my father was like those mice, the mother owl is the Fentanyl he took. I felt him leave this plane of existence.😞😖😭

One of my coworkers lost a cat to a poison mouse. I refuse to use those traps because of what they do to other animals.

I watched this video and just started crying the moment I saw it. Like death had said, "It will feel like an open wound for a long time. There will always be a scar. But someday you will treat it like a reminder of your love." Which others may, but for me I haven't yet. My open wound is still there, it hasn't gone away since, the passing of my father's cat. (StOrYtImE) so this took place in 2021 my father which we'll call him J and his cat Ravage (heh name her bc of transformers.) And she had this weird lump in her chest this often happened. So J waited a little I'm not quite sure why. She was around 13 years old so quite an old cat, then J made an appointment for removing the lump. After the surgery was done, she stayed at the vet for a little, then was sent home. She has the lions cut or whatever it's called when they get shaved like a lion. She's had it several times before this one. So she was fine and acted fine, or so we thought. After around a mouth she started to act sick, her meow broke my heart it made me cry so hard I thought I would die from crying. But J did everything he could in his power to keep Ravage alive. Agust. I was on the computer playing games, then my mother comes up to me, (we're gonna call me N) "N Ravage just died." My heart broke into one millions pieces, I walked into the kitchen to see my J standing holding Ravage's lifeless body. I was in tears I could see tears in J's eyes. I didn't know what to do I felt awkward and sad. After a while J took Ravage to the vet to have her ashes in a tin along with her paw print in clay saying, "Ravage" I still have it, it makes me cry so hard. But the emotions will always hurt like a wound, but later I will treat it like my reminder that Ravage will always be in my heart. But thank you to those who read my story, thank you.

You know...while i am nothing more than a Mere mortal i have to add onto Death Said about grief: Depending on the the emotions you feel or suffer while dealing with grief the wound is Very difficult to heal or even close, Just one thing can make the wound open again even If its temporary. Back when i was 16 years old i Lost my dog to Rat Poison when my mom suspected of rats lurking around our courtyard, i was suppoused to watch over or prevent the dogs from eating the food but i wasnt aware of my dog activity since i was on my own Room playing videogames, my dog began screaming in pain when i went to check up on him (we didnt knew he ate It after he passed away) and we stood with him trying to give him medicine with food but to no avail. When my dog finally was on death's door i ran to him and tought of getting him to a doctor, but when i came back to him once again after getting ready to walk with him, he wasnt there anymore. Having to witness his suffering for 5 days and seeing him dying with no way to help him really gets me every time i remember and hurts even more with my mother crying when i had to Tell her about It, hearing her say she wouldnt get used to not being able to call him anymore...all that happened because i didn't check up on him... Grief can be treated and kept at Bay but never healed, especially when one is filled with regret and guilt following it.

this made me remember about my 3 birds, Boo-Boo, Oh-Oh, and Alice, I had the first two since I was a baby, and the the last of the two, Oh-Oh past away on new years, in my hand. ALice was a new born that I spoiled roten, She never got to live past her first few months due to a bad heat wave and my apt losing power. I miss all three of them. Boo-Boo I remember fondly but I was never close to ger, she passed only after 3-4 years when I was 6. I have very few memories of her.

Death is such a great character, but sometimes I want him to get angry. Like sometimes there's an abused, killed, abandoned animal/person and died as a consequence and I think it would be nice if the person who was the culprit met some karma (not caused by death like tripping and falling down stairs or a car accident) shortly after and feel Death's anger at them for treating a life so poorly

I think as humans we paint a horrible picture of the afterlife we thinks its dark,scary and horrible and it is but also you have to remember death can be peacful and comforting its not always bad when its your day to go youll be happy you lived for so long and enjoyed life

i used to have a amazing golden hearted hen i loved her so much. She was a little saint when she was weeks old i named her Ro-ro she was a little sweet heart then i could not find her in my 13 chicks i had later i found out she was one of my hens whom i named Goose i loved her so deeply i was SO happy to see my precouis baby she ment SO much to me. A year after finding out she was a year old when something sad happend. She started to act weird, and wasn't acting herself. Ussaly she would ski around with her friends, but this time she wasn't. She was slower and more lethargic. so we kept taking her in every night i know this is just a chicken but she really was my first TRUE friend in this world. So we notticed are herbal medicine was not working. Then we dicided to go to a vet. They were NOT trained in ANY AVIANS even thought they said they had a pet for barn animals. They left us and are hen there for 3 HOURS and just then did they say they did not want to do a surgery they were planing. They took a X ray and said eather it was egg or tumors they showed us my Mother thought eggs a day alter at 11:00 Am my prescouis girl passed hope shes happy in heaven :].
