In 2016/17 repairs were carried out but they were unable to lift the bridge at this time. recent restoration started in febuary 2023 and is planned to take 11 months costing an estimated 5 million pound split between the dept of transport and North east lincolnshire council.
The Ross tiger can also be googled, A grimsby side-winder trawler from the 1950's. The last survivor of its type. In later life it was sold and used as an oil rig support vessel before being donated to grimsby town to be used as a museum for the sum of one pound.
