My point is his use of the term 'boy' is not a crutch that he's relying on. It's simply to address his opponent. He could have used many more ie 'man', 'n-word', 'G', 'player', 'cuz', 'fam' etc

I'm not making excuses, you are. You just made an excuse for Con's overuse of 'like'. As my original comment stated; if you're going to criticise T, then do so with Con as well. That's it, that's all...

'Like' and 'than' are used to form similes, NOT metaphors. Similes are not that impressive and easy to conjure up unlike quality metaphors ie "crazier than crazy glue". I'm not excusing T's overuse of "boy". It doesn't really change the impact of the bars. However if you're going to point fingers at that, then also point at Con, too.
