Thanks for this explanation. I shoot split finger with no pressure on my index/top finger…it’s a guide as you say. My nock point is nearly 5/8” high and I do have lower grip pressure. What you are saying here is all true for me. I’ve shot this way for 37 years and recently noticed a low grip longbow (Crow Creek Black Feather) I have is very sensitive to the low grip pressure…it shoots best with more low grip pressure than my other bows and it seems to be properly tillered. I have your Adventure Stick and really like the grip pressure and feel of the back of that grip. I can reall feel where the pressure needs to be and it shoots great by the way!

I put way too much pressure on my lower (ring) finger. Sure ‘nuff, I have a high nock point on pretty much every bow I shoot

Hi, The bow I got was tillered for split finger draw but I shoot 3 under. That is the same scenario as putting more pressure on the bottom finger as you mentioned right? So if I shoot 3 under on a split finger tillered bow, I also need to put more pressure further down from center of the bow? Any tip would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to make these vids.

Finger pressure changes may work but they likely won't be repeatable, since it's so easy to go back to what naturally feels right or normal. You just need to spend some time tuning the bow. You'll probably end up with a little higher nock point. But shoot some bare shafts, then move to shooting thru paper to fine tune your adjustments and get it dialed in. You should not have much trouble getting the bow to tune for you
