Please tell me it's a good game. I've already played the "Life is Strange" series and am ordering "Concrete Genie". I've been debating on whether or not to get "Gris". If it's worthy enough to win the award for "Games for Impact", I'll get it. But I need your personal opinions.
Oh my god, dude, that would've been hilarious! 😂 But it would have to be scripted, and no one knew who the winners would be until announced, so it wouldn't work. But we can always leave that to our imagination! 😁 Perhaps if they add some DLC to the game, it could incorporate that.😀
I was laughing my butt off when I watched this live! BY FAR the funniest part, and most memorable in my opinion! I have no idea why the Muppets showed up LOL, but it was great!!!!!
Honestly, one of the best moments. As far as having the Game Awards orchestra become a tradition, I hope they'll consider having the Muppets there as a tradition as well to announce the Games for Impact.
I couldn't see a sequel to the girls story, but i could see them taking on different themes with that art style and gameplay structure with different characters. E.g Gris was about Loss and grief, maybe they will make a game about depression and mental illness next.
People have different opinions on impact games. I was also a little disappointed that "Life is Strange 2" didn't win, but overall, I am happy that "Gris" won. The other nominees were also really good. The gaming industry is starting to grow more with impact games. One game from years ago that I finally beat was "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" (I was crying so hard near the end). You guys played that? Another good impact game is "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice".
@@amandanies3174 Oooh I just played the demo version of Brothers but I was actually planning on buying it! It seemed like a warmy atmospheric and a hell of a emotional ride. And now you just made my expectations bigger. Oh and sorry for any crappy grammar English isn't my first language
games for impact recognises real issues in our world and help us relate to problems and how we can or should deal with them and the consequences. The category is definitely not a joke as these games have helped so many people with personal problems than any gun game could ever do.
I didn't hear about Gris until the Game Awards, but i finished it recently and its now one of my favourite games of all time, you have got to experience it yourself to understand.
"games for impact" i see that as "games i want to avoid because its politically driven" or am i jumping to conclusions? its just the wording at 2:27 just has a "Karen with her gender studies degree telling you about how privileged of a cis white male you are" feeling too it.
Nah, man you gotta play Gris, it has nothing sjw about it, its a beautiful story about grief and dealing with loss, with a superb art style to back it up. Not sure about the other games though.
