I gave up halfway on this level, it's the most beautiful frustration I've ever played. All merit is lost on me when I have to make the same damn jump 100000 times.
I am glad to see You completing it, and taking it in fast. And I am glad that \ if You enjoyed this, even though it is not kind of Your preferrable dynamic type of game. And also I still have to collect the mementos. Also, I do not remember You doing catch-up for the first colorless part, where, as I remember, You missed one memento out of two. Still have no idea, where this is. For sure, I will keep myself spoilerless for the Childhood achievement (ending?), so I still have reasons and ways to go and enjoy this wonderful piece of art.
Oh yeah, I think I forgot to include that one memento in the first area. I did collect it, you just need to be able to swim and it's right to the left of the hub area, floating in the water, but I guess I missed putting that footage in there. Childhood is the very last thing in the entire video, so it'll be extremely obvious when to close it if you're staying spoiler free. Also, final part of OneShot (First Shot, as I'm calling it) is done. Should be a big "marathon" video for the second part coming soon now that the video schedule is relatively free.
@@DocFirebird Nice! And, I guess, I owe You an appology for making You trying to play OneShot blindly. Also, here comes the question: are you in any way shape or form are into RPG-maker games? Well, I mean, You are, supposedly, since You played Undertale, Deltarune, and even OneShot, and probably some else like the witch's house and whatnot. All I am saying, is, if it would tingle Your interest from the look of it, check out Hello, Charlotte. This thing is... gross, in a way that I actually dare to propose another person to play it :"D
Thanks for playthrough Doc. Is there any chance you'd play Gods Will Be Watching? It's a point and click adventure/survival/resource management game with great story and music, relatively old and obscure.
All I want to do, is see you turn into, a giant woman ~a giant woman.~ Unrelated: I'd love a Caves of Qud playthrough, although that'd probably get even less views than Persona. I can't imagine Wilford Brimley's big on ASCII graphics.
wonderful playthrough! if you're gonna be lookin for another game i must suggest: Environmental Station Alpha. you'll *wanna* spoil yourself for it but it's a great experience. it's a hard 'lil metroidvania who's completion percentage goes to 204%.
A lot of the Dead Cells shenanigans are happening on (stream site which must not be named). You can catch up on a good half dozen or so hours of VODs if you're interested.
This is the point in the game where I went from loving this game to wanting to punch the game designer in the dick. The jumps in this level at times are outrageous and this is the point where I wanted a map screen more than I ever wanted anything in my life. I officially HATE this game 100 percent because of this level. This is a mess. And aggravating. My biggest pet peeve in platformers is if you miss something MISS IT! As in not even remotely close! When I'm one pixel off every jump in the level it makes me want to throw the controller through the fucking screen.
Understandable. It's not everyone's genre. This is less of a game and more of an experience/art. Clearly shows the devs put their heart and soul in making this. :) personally loved every moment, but I understand why some people don't
