Yes I agree, sacrificing an exchange while the bar stays on equal means that there is compensation for the sacrifice and it is very hard to calculate for the defending player especially when there is so many moves to consider
Nasıl bir saldırı bu böyle resmen kendi kucağına çekti rakibi. Makineye böyle davranamazsınız ama insanoğlu açgözlüdür. Uzun zamandır bu seviyede böyle bir yemleme görmedim. Tebrikler ediz
It's amazing that the position after 11. ...Ne8 has occurred 35 times, the first being 27 years ago in a German correspondence game! The appearance of the position is very deceiving because SF 16.1 claims that the position is equal despite white having a clear path to attack the black king which Gurel demonstrates after 12. ...c6. @ 0:44, It appears that Grischuk is probably trying to recall some analysis on how to defend such a position. After 12. Nc3, white has a 72.6% win rate thus indicating that this position is very difficult to defend. The 1997 game continued 12. ...Qh4 13. g3 Qe7? to which white failed to see 14. Nd5!...Qxe5 14. Bf4 etc.
Wow man, haven’t seen such domination at this level. Great example of an attack game, amazing how many moves he already calculated before rook sacrifice. Grischuk didn’t even play, just moved his pieces according to Ediz’s plan
@@Baryshx I hate that about chess. It's a great game but I'm an individual who just knows the rules. I would enjoy it a lot vs ppl like me, trying to come up with strategies without known openings, memorized stuff etc. To compete I'd need to breath chess and I get bored of repetitiveness fast.
@@Bēdguy69 well then you don't know a lot of chess sorry to say. Just "leaving your rook to be captured" is NOT called a rook sac. A rook sac would be giving up a whole rook without receiving a minor piece in return. This is called an EXCHANGE sac. Maybe talk to GPT for a few minutes before you make confidently incorrect remarks with your 900 elo.
@@verystablegenius4720"In chess, a sacrifice is a move that gives up a piece with the objective of gaining tactical or positional compensation in other forms. Son günlerde satranç dünyasında Ediz'in performansı dikkat çekiyor. Alexander Grischuk'a karşı yapılan sert saldırılarla herkesin ilgisini çekti. Türk gençleri, satrançta büyük bir yetenek sergiliyor. Ediz, Carlsen hariç tüm oyunlarını kazandı ve masa 1 şampiyonu oldu! Türkiye'den böyle yetenekleri görmek harika! 🇹🇷♟ Not: Ediz'in gelecekteki oyunlarını merakla bekliyorum!
Bf5 or Bg4. If Bf5 Qf5 Nh7 and white is better somehow after Qg4 Qg6 they find Rh3 Rf7 and Qh5 trading Q’s but the game continues. Or even simpler Bg4 and white has no better than to repeat Qh6-g6. Everything else is bad.
