They should have portrayed Griselda how she really was, ruthless. Showing her life as a child growing up briefly and all the bad things she experienced could have shown the audience how she became who she was

This seriously needed to be two Narcos seasons. Give me her past, her history with Alberto, her ties to the Medellin cartel, her relationship with Escobar. They skipped so much, I love what they did but it felt way too short

Her story deserved the care and seriousness of the Narcos series. It felt like a half-assed attempt. So much potential and they poopooed it

The prosthetics were a little distracting....but Sophia did a great job.

What I was disappointed about is they left out the motorcycle assassins she was known for

Why not make it as accurate as possible? Her story is tragic, psychotic, and utterly interesting. Sometimes history writes the perfect screen play

They made Griselda more humanized for wider appeal. If the show portrayed her as savage as in real life, maybe they felt that the show would have no sympathetic core. Cocaine Cowboys Part 2 is a great retelling of her reign.

I never thought of Sophia as a particularly good actress but she was amazing in this series, worthy of an Emmy nomination… The show is good as fiction loosely based or a true story. It’s not very accurate but entertaining…

It was too short and rushed, clearly there was more to the story

I loved, she did an extraordinary job, I completely forgot her character from modern family while watching , was a truly labour of love from her and it shows

1st I wanna say - I think Sofia Vergara did an amazing job, probably her best acting to date, though the Netflix portrayal of Griselda IMHO wasn’t as ruthless & sociopathic as legends & other doc-u-dramas have made her out to be. I personally liked the movie “Cocaine Godmothers” portrayal better starring Cathryn Zeta-Jones, to me, that is how I pictured Griselda’s character. 2nd - I wish Netflix has stretched this out like the did Narcos series. I think they could have really dived into this and stretched this out for a couple of seasons. For such an infamous drug lord character, more should be known about Griselda, Lastly, The actor who played Carlos Lehder should have been played much more psychopathic, he too, like Griselda seemed tamed down compared to legend & folklore.

I was confused because there are many pictures of Griselda with Michael Corleone when he is a teenager but the movie ended with him being no more than 7 years old??? Also, I wish the series would have shown her getting out of prison and going back to Columbia and then we should have seen her assassination!

I think that this type of series should raise awareness of the society that we do not want for future generations of Colombians, there is nothing of national pride in a person like Griselda. On the contrary, we must think about how we as a Colombian society can change these types of realities, they are not heroes and there is nothing to be proud of! That should be the message of the actors and the serie.

I thought It was good limited series. Could have used more of the Colombia days backstory, and swish they showed her getting out and going back to Colombia. But SV did great in the role even tho she didn’t much resemble Blanco, but the cast was great.

They rushed this whole story so much happened that they just time jumped half the story .6 Episodes was a terrible decision

6 episodes is too short for me should have done it over 2 season

I liked it but I did also think they laid it on a bit too thick with the melodrama Also! We finally got the “daddy loves you very much” sign-off 🥰

this was one of the best series i’ve ever saw. so captivating and gripping. a series like Breaking Bad and Ozark which keeps you on the edge of your seat at times. loved it.

It was decent but nowhere near Narcos level. I wish Rivi and the other hit men got more screen time. I wonder what he would think of this.

Will return to watch this one after I finish the series.

The show was good, but could have benefited from a few more episodes. They could have shown more of her upbringing and her reign in Miami.

I enjoyed the show but most especially Sophia's performance. As well, I enjoyed the plethora of Latin Actors throughout this series. This will definitely be an Emmy nod if not a Win for Sophia Vigara aka Griselda next year.

I liked the film. It got me hooked on latin gangstar films. I am now watching queen of the south on Netflix.

The real Grizelda was very heavy and very unattractive, and much more evil than in this series. Sophia was amazing though

Sophia looked less like Griselda and more like Catherine Zeta Jones. Her acting was good but if we talk about physical embodiment then Sophia and Griselda are poles apart.

I feel like Sofia did an incredible job, I normally dont like her acting as I feel its always the same character w/comedic tendencies and a focus on her accent... but this was a complete departure from how she usually is and I enjoyed it. I would have liked if they did something for her death though, maybe create a story around it.

Sorry but you got a few things wrong in this video..her own son , men she worked with, many accounts talk about her and Pablo being friends...he used to write her in prison..also they didnt gloss over new york..they do talk about it in the show. But since it starts later on ots only mentioned not shown..so perhaps you didnt she /read that part.

I’m Colombian & my entire family comes from the same city/neighborhood that ms blanco is from & trust me that story isn’t entirely true! Netflix tried but failed. The accent isn’t the same & they made it seem like she had a lot of female Allies which is a lie to an extend. Still need to finish watching but it’s hard when we know the real story.

Why did the show change Sofia's nose but not her physique? More importantly, why didn't they talk about her love affair with Crosby?

I also didn’t see the money she made. The movie just looked like she did all that killing for chump change. Def need to run it back with a narco season.

When I first started watching the show, I was like, “Is that Sofia Vergara? Her nose is different-it’s bigger, her eyebrows are too close together and the eyebrow hairs are like brush bristles, and her skin is dry and rough-looking, and her teeth look way different.” I even brought up the sitcom “A Modern Family” to compare them both. 😂😂😂 So then I searched for vlogs about the series: I found out they did all those “changes to her face” on purpose with make up and even prosthetics-to make her more realistic to the real Griselda. That’s why everything was off! 😂😂😂 That was great make up and prosthetics work! 😅😅😅 Anyway, I liked the series, but I agree with some of the comments here-it was rushed. They should have told her story from childhood so we understand what made her what she became: a ruthless, ambitious woman. Still, she claimed here that she did everything for her sons… But who in their right mind can think/believe that’s what it was only? She loved the power and control, and she did not know when to stop. Her demise was doing the drugs herself-they made her lose it all: the control, the power, her sons.

The ending was a let down cause they didn't show blanco get deported back colombia and get killed by motorcycle drive by hit!!

They took way too many liberties with the facts.I stopped watching it after the first episode. The truth is way better than playing loose and fast with the facts. Her mother turned her out to do tricks at an early age at 10 or 12. Her real life was a Gothic horror story.

The show was amazing. Amd far more accurate than the godmother movie, and far better. I dont think everyone has it in them to read that much tho since so many people are lazy . If your into it then your glued enough for it to not even make a difference. Bad movies i have to read through so much definitely become a chore but it didnt even feel like i was reading through it cause the acting was great and out weighing that for me . I fine it funny noone talka about how badly done thw modmorher was done . I can watch this again and it just came out. I was impressed. Just take time to truly watch people. Its definitely something you want your full attention on.

I thought it was good. It seems that a lot of the crime series sanitize, what actually happened in most cartels series. Probably their fearful that their audience might shrink.

Documentary is more entertaining considering this is dramatized for entertainment purposes
