Hey Diplex, would you ever consider posting some videos of you creating maps you make, maybe even make some tutorials on the more in depth stuff in the editor? I think your audience would greatly appreciate it and it could be something new to bring :)
Yeah that would be cool maybe make a map for one vid then the next day have a vid of the battle or just make one massive vid with the editing then the actual battle.
all the medal of honors were pretty good. remember the one where you team up with the British , steal a German uniform then hose down a conference room with a sten after an allied skylight assault. good times. then modern warfare came around to beat the series into obscurity.

YES!!! I've been wanting multiple simulations of a single battle for AGES!!! With all the work you put in, you deserve being able to play the same scenario a few times since results are dynamic.
Ok now you can really tell Diplex is getting sick of the comments like " you let 'x' win " or " you helped 'y' win ". He proves that he does nothing except press start and its the Way he game works that you get such varying, sometimes one sided battles.
You need to create more realistic force compositions and waves 2 coastal guns 1 dual barrelled AA Supported by a company of infantry Opposed by a little over 1 company of Marines Attacking odds should be in excess of 3:1, if the enemy have powerful fixed emplacements then specific units would be landed to target them. There is also a horrible lack of support weapons for the attacking force, no mortars or flamethrower units dismounted with the second or third wave. Naval barrage would also land before the first wave comes in, or as they are getting boots on the sand. I love your videos, but you always say the same thing "they need more support", so give them more support, lol
We never fought in the pacific during ww1, and if you're talking about early battles of ww2 we had standard m1 pot helmets just like we did for the entirety of the war. We also never used Springfields widely in ww2
MartianProductions he is talking about late 1941 and early 1942 our standerd helmet was the brodie and rifle m1903 spring feilds later on in late 1942 we started getting pot helmets and m1s as standard
Bro in 1941 when Wake Island was invaded around the same time as the Pearl Harbor attack (a week later), the Marines were equipped mainly with Brodies, and Springfields, infact Marines had the springfield for quite a while, they weren't as well funded as the Army, nor as equipped due to the Policy of "Germany First."
SSFhighcommandJOHN exactly they carried them with all the M1 equipment on Guadalcanal, and even though they had been introduced to it by the time, they still liked the Springfield better due to its stability.

reminds me of the pelilue Beach assault from cod waw. I can hear palonsky yelling "we're stuck on the coral" as roebuck shouts "drop the ramp!" I miss ww2 cod. good video.
I recently just started watching your videos to the Roman wars to the civil war to ww2 to ww3 and to star wars, and they are just unbelievably good!! I've tried to watch other peoples videos of them doing the same thing that you do. The way you talk and the information you give out, that is what you make you videos more interesting hope you see this
People say 3rd was biased- but it was so fucking cool~ Love you and this channel, keep on kicking. Oh and PLEASE YES I WANT TO SEE WAVE CASUALTY COUNTY THROUGH TEAMS (or other methods as long as it works) IT'S GLORIOUS!!
The big difference in the 3rd try is that the japanese AA gun for some reason cannot destroy that one vehicle from the first wave in the center that throughout the battle, we can see it focusing on that one vehicle in different shots. We can even see the gunners up top of that vehicle firing back while being pounded. Maybe the Japanese AA gun just keeps hitting a thick part of the armor but that vehicle from the 1st wave endured and survived until some vehicles in later waves manages to destory the Japanese AA. The Japanese AA focusing on that one stubborn troop transport is what diverted attention away from other transports and clumps of advancing soldiers which resulted in the curbstomp toward the end. So you're right, the result relies heavily on chance.
Hey Diplex you haven't uploaded anything in a few days miss your videos man your one of the main channels I check daily on youtube and not seeing anything new for a few days has me worried since you usually get them out much sooner.

The reason the third assult made it was in fact due to the two Buffalos being in cover from the naval guns, and at the same time kept the attention of the AA emplacement. That meant that there were some serious firepower going in, while at the same time the greatest Japanese killing machine was effectively out of the fight.
Why? Cause he makes videos? Dude none of this stuff is his.. maybe making maps but thats no patron thing. Including the mods.. hes showing em off. The fact you want to throw away money though shows you have more pockets then actual intelligence. Also don't care if this is mean, honesty needs to be said time to time.
No it doesn't need to be said, the dude's investing his own time to make content specifically for others to enjoy, it's completely understandable that people would want to support him. You're calling someone dumb because you don't understand their perspective.
there was something significantly different the 3rd attempt, it was the AA gun focusing pointlessly one of the transport (not making any DMG) thus allowing the transports to shoot much more and distracting the AA guns from slaughtering the infantry
Great battle,thankyou.I think the LVTs survivng a little while longer in the third scene made the difference. Sorry to armchair but I would have included a Marine heavy weapons section.
Hey! I just discovered your channel! This game looks awesome! I have been watching some battles for a couple days now and it keeps me captivated but I'm not a gamer myself but these battles are awesome
On the first two scenarios there was a track making hash of the trench on the right flank. You clicked on it to move it forward, and it got killed. Had you left it alone, it might have collapsed that flank. On the third run through two held the center right and managed to survive. They turned the battle.
In a real attack the shelling would come first, not at 3rd wave. And, there would not likely be waves like this? They would be very close together and support each other. I did like that they were closer together this time than in previous times but truly think it should be sort of continuous.
Sorry if this isn't really relevant, but I figured you'd be more likely to see this on a newer video than an older one. I was wondering if you did a large scale battle that I believe took place in Africa where it was a British assault against(which thanks to a glitch had a few American vehicles), I think, a combination of German and Italian forces
man don't worry what people think your videos are great. you can't be bias when your not controlling any of the troops it's all in what they do. which is seen in the game play. just keep up what your doing. if they don't like it then they should go watch some eles or play the game them self if they can't enjoy good game play and scenarios
Diplex, first your videos rock. Some problems I notice is the AI vehicles don't advance to support the attack there's a lot of standing around. A Japanese bonsai attack would be realistic as well.
if the USMC would shell and beach landing befor they would even send any troops in to a beach it may not be fun for u to do that but thats what would happen
as a female gamer that doesn't like guns and war too much... i find this game incredibly interesting to watch for some weird reason... i don't know why
Diplex, do you ever just get lots of random crashes in the editor? I'm trying to make missions in vanilla but when I click on certain units or vehicles the game just crashes. kind of made me give up on making missions.
Can you make sure you check every vehicle to see if its still active or not? because a good number of times youve not noticed that they were still active. I sware one of the water buffs was still active the first time you did it, it was the one that was T-boneing another tank on the right flank
