I wanted a way to be able to use my hand cycle and still take along my GRIT Freedom Chair. I will be trying it out at WDW Fort Wilderness Campground this year as a test run. Chair will double as a trailer, nice for bringing back groceries form the store and also use it to go off on dirt trails, something I can not do with my everyday chair. The Freedom Chair 3.0 is great, so many uses. Thank You GRIT.

HEY DAVE, JUST FOUND YOUR CHANNEL. I AM APPLYING FOR A GRANT TO GET A GRIT WHEELCHAIR. BEING AND OLD BIKERMAMMA, PLUS LIVING UP IN THE MTS AND FARM COUNTRY I WAS DOING MY HOMEWORK ON THE BEST WHEELCHAIR. HAD A BAD ACCIDENT. ANYWAYS, MOTORCYCLES ARE A THING OF THE PAST FOR ME BUT EVERYDAY LIVING AND CAMPING ARE NOT. SO I JUST LOVE YOUR IDEA OF HOOKING YOUR GRIT TO THE BACK OF YOUR OTHER TRIKE. CAN YOU DO A VIDEO ON HOW YOU MADE THE HITCH PART. WHAT A TERRIFIC IDEA!

You will love The GRIT!!! it let's you go where wheelchairs fear to tread. I Hope you get your grant. If you have any questions feel free to ask I would be happy to share what I know. I'm still learning, but having fun. I want to make a video on how I made the hitch. you are going to laugh. I made it from a cheep amazon aluminum crutch and u-bolts and the straps from the foot rest on my handcycle then painted it black. What I want to do is make something for universal hitching, the GRIT, bike trailer or maybe just a basket at times. I've got some ideas but some welding will be needed. The crutch only needed cutting and some drilling. I will work on a video. I have another crutch to work with and it was not that hard to do. Thank you for your nice comment.
