Start up procedure and Test Flight of the updated 2021 Grob 109 B with 100 hk FADEC-controlled Rotax 912 and constant speed MT-Propeller. In the cockpit are Jens Trabolt, editor of nordicgliding.com and Grob chief test pilot Thomas Brenner.
Note that the blurring in the first 3,5 minutes is due to sensitive technology at the manufacturer airfield.

Had a 109B from 1985 to 2005 with the Grob 90hp engine. It was a great cross country airplane and a reasonably good glider. I out-climbed a Blanik one day in the same thermal. I flew it coast to coast in Canada and to Florida. Nice to see it again with updated engine and panel.

Nice video see also 10:10 What do you think about the rotax upgrade Price for an old Grob with a 2500 E motor that has 2000 hours? Motor upgrade with panel/avionic or only motor?

Grob still has not published any prices, so its still wild speculation. But the market is there for sure.
