Grocery Girls Knit Episode 57 

Too much yarn stresses me too. I am so glad to know that there are people out there that understand. I am fortunate that my husband's niece is a crocheter with a nervous tick and crochets like a madwomen all the time. She can't afford real wools. She buys acrylics because she churns out so much. I feel good that she can try out real wools and feels like it is a treat.

MAY MEANS: NO MORE SNOWBIRDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very happy that spring has sprung in Canada. (denizen of Lauderdale by the Sea, FL)

Not sure if you've discovered Autumn and Indigo but I found them recently at a popup shop at Knothouse Yarns in Maryland. This yarn is right up your alley. Claire, the dyer, has a distinct artistry that translates into a cohesive collection of coordinating speckled and tonals.

Love watching you ladies!! I have very dry skin too, I have two things that I use, one is beef collagen, you can get it on Amazon, it is a powder, add it to my coffee in the morning. Really helps with strengthening the skin. The other is Rose Ointment, it is from Young Living Essential Oils, but I got it on Amazon, as well. I had a very dry scaly patch on the side of my forehead and used the Rose ointment, and in a couple of days it was gone... love it and it smells wonderful. Cheers!

Speaking of stashes. I had a magnificent stash moved to the beach here on the east coast of us. Who would have thought moths would have gotten to it! Almost every skein has been eaten at. I am in grieving..which sounds silly to everyone in my normal life. You guys will understand. And cannot justify buying yarn because I have a toddler and times are tough. But man devastated

The K2TOG is the first sock club I have ever taken part in. It was so fun to receive the surprise yarn and bag this week...I love the colors and the story behind them. I have already pre-ordered for June...my birthday month. That will make my birthday extra special!!!

In our area, convocation is separate from commencemnt. Convocation is a spring event and is celebrated with leaders coming to the universities to share thoughts - like Bobby Kennedy Jr, Colin Powell, and others at our local university. Commencement is the graduation ceremony. Interesting that it is different in Canada. Love your podcasts, ladies.

I totally agree about the beauty of those islands. I live in the uk but my sister is building a home on mayne island and I am lucky enough to visit each year.

I've been destashing on Ravelry and it has been going pretty well! There are specific destash groups, like the Sell, Trade, or Destash group.

I didn’t think I would like the bent Chiagoo needles, but after using them, I love them! I have wide bear paw size palms and the bend at the end of the Chiagoo gets the cable join away from the edge of my palm so I am not bending the cable at the join and poking my palm. I think that they are a little longer which also helps with that problem. If you have larger hands try them!

You girls have amazing yarn knowledge. I always learn something from you..

Talking about needles, I love using the Kollage circular needles. They come in a firm or soft cable, also they are square needles which are easy on my hands
