Don't listen to people telling you to educate the public. I totally agree with you. They need to get their information from medical institutions. You can definitely do it, Penny!! I learned everything about knitting from watching youtube. The learning curve is pretty short. Just stick to it and you'll have it down in no time. You've found the best podcast to watch as well!
You two are so funny, I could watch paint dry with you!! ha ha ha. Love seeing all your knitting, learning about new patterns and new yarns. I have a tip for you that I got from a very wise Dr. years ago, avoid the news, unless you can go out and change something don't get drawn into negativity of any kind, it can suck all the joy out of your day and your life. I have followed that advise for many years now, it's been a game changer for me. That's just me though, I have friends who get very nervous if they don't keep up with all the bad stuff going on. Anyway you guys are my up, and always make me laugh...so thank you.

The most difficult time I’ve had dealing with all this is worrying about all my family that live in areas in highly infected areas. They live far and wide. I have moderate anxiety disorder and major depression disorder. so I have days that makes it hard to cope. Knitting is helping me a lot and watching special people like you certainly gives me the giggles. You guys make me cry every time not sad cry but a laughing cry. Plus have the time I almost choke on my coffee. Thank you so much

The language is wonderful...... being somewhat in quarantine brings out the best .... love it, makes you human.!!❤️❤️ I am crocheting 2 shawls (1 is the wonderland wrap from Hobbii yarns and a half circle shawl that was on Fiber Spider pattern by purple iguana ) after those, who knows !! I’m retired and am enjoying myself sooo much. Since I can’t knit it’s a treat to just watch or listen to y’all while I crochet.

For those of you who are finding shelves empty please listen to the advice if you don t need it walk by it and let the person who came there looking for exactly that because they are out. Thank you soooo much for doing this. Really appreciating your company right now from our lockdown in Europe. We wish we could just ‘go outside!’ But there are very strict regulations on this in Europe now. In the UK we are allowed out once a day for a short period of exercise but I think this will change soon and it will become like mainland Europe where you need permission to go out from the authorities. We are allowed to shop for food but as infrequently as possible. You are so right - thank goodness for knitting! Very best wishes to you both and I hope things in Canada stay ok xx

I'm glad you ladies are doing well. We got our basement flooded Saturday and had to throw out a large majority of my acrylic yarn luckily I was able to save all of my merino. But it is still heartbreaking. This cleanup is cutting into my knitting time. I could have had my Rhinebeck cardigan from Loopy Mango done. I'm thankful they were willing to send me the.pdf of the pattern, since it got trashed in the flood. I'm definitely going to be shopping with them a ton more. Thanks for the suggestion. 😁😁
cast on turtle dove which i frogged last year, almost finished, what a soothing knit. Since we must stay home , lots of extra knitting time . my son is finishing this semester on line, open hours we are painting the family room. We eached picked a color and its looking really fresh!. Making the most of a difficult situation , fantastic bonding oppportunity

I bought the orange yarn Jodi's daughters dyed just because and when it came it was so beautiful I bought some cloudborn navy and cream from Bluprint and I'm making a Navelli with that beautiful orange as the contrast color. A year of GG's podcasts and that scrumptious yarn! I'm in heaven!

I am a retired teacher, so being st home is somewhat normal. I do miss going to my Fri. afternoon craft group, my Sunday lunch group and my Mon. afternoon bridge group. I have been working on my West Coast Wools knit along that is knitting (or crochet) BINGO game and I am loving it. It is keeping me sane in this time of social distancing.
I just had to pop on to tell Tracie that the Malco Theaters here in Memphis, TN will pop a bag of popcorn for you to either be delivered to your house or pick up curbside. It’s wonderful. Maybe you should contact one of your movie theaters and give them a hint.
Dr Hinshaw has said to have a cohort family to isolate together. You don’t have to live together, but you ‘isolate together’ by limiting contact with others outside of your cohort. I think this is great for families to see and support each other. AND Thanks for being together and brightening my day!

I am an RN and work is beyond stressful...everyone is on edge, N95 respirators are under lock and key, certain meds have been taken away and only dispensed on a per dose basis. It’s bonkers and to say I am anxious is an understatement...I have been knitting and crocheting so much when I am home to calm my nerves. Thank you for these weekly podcasts...NC is now on a statewide “stay at home” mandate. Thankfully I have enough yarn to last for this month! Stay safe and healthy ladies!!

So happy I got the City Limits pattern and already have my yarn! I am using the same base but changed the mohair colors a bit! Color #6 beige, #62 rose, #3s lt. gray, #47 Charcoal. Should be awesome! 🧶❤️ every podcast you two do, I buy yarn! Lol Having a sinus infection doesn’t hold me back!
I usually can’t catch you live because I am also still working every day, and when I’m home I have a one year old to occupy my time. But it is so nice to sit and listen to you chat and get my mind off of the craziness for a few hours.
