Grocery Shopping For The First Time | Grocery Haul Max is grocery shopping for the first time in his new house! He struggles a little bit with what to pick and the quantity size, but ends up doing amazing with this grocery haul!
I feel like Tristan showed back up in y’all’s life at the time he was needed the most. Aaron seems so…much happier. You could tell he was struggling for a while with everything he’d gone through recently. It’s great seeing him smile again and laugh so much.
Max is very sensible n very switched on in everything he does especially for an 18 year old, just my opinion as a viewer. He doesnt seem to just buy everything because his parents are helping him out with their first food shop. To me it shows me he respects his parents n doesnt take advantage of their kindness, money wise...Max will do great in life 👍
Max,,ol my goodness he is a man on a mission,,wants to stay on point I hope he relax alittle to enjoy life,,he did look alittle stress but as time goes it will get easier,,adulthood is not easy but with him having Alex and Tristan there plus his family I see Max going far in life.
It's a pleasure to see that Tristan demonstrates his knowledge of different matters with natural authority and common sense. But also with a touch of humour and modesty. I appreciate how willing he is to educate himself on dietary dishes and products. It is safer and healthier to read the ingredients and origine on packages when you buy groceries. And not to go by brand and price alone. Wishing the young men success in finding their own routines and mastering more lifeskills. Thank you for sharing.
I only use butter, even for baking. Butter is natural and tastes so much better than chemical laden margarine. I just want to say that Tristan is such a wonderful guy. So glad you found each other again. He always makes me smile with his easy going, loving personality.
Just as Shelly and Jared have said on their channel…it’s good to teach the kids how to shop on a smaller scale, bc they’re so used to shopping for many ppl
Is Tristan no longer working in restaurants? That man deserve a cafe of his own with all that knowledge and nice food. When Tristan is sharing something that he has more knowledge about, he put them across with humbleness and humor without sounding condescending. Amazing communicator and social skills I must say. Glad he is back with the family because his presence had been a positive ones from what I can see.
Tip for the lads, meal planning makes grocery shopping so much easier. I cant wait to see how Max grows now he's moved out I feel that with Tristan and Alex he will be fine
Tristan is sooo hot and he knows how to cook also is super funny AHEEE literally everything I want in a guy and he’s super organized. And the tattoos are a plus 😭 😍
I’ve said it in other comments but Tristan coming back was literally the completion of your Family! You can see his love in all he’s does especially when he’s cooking❤
Aaron mentioned that Tristan likes to "give back to people." Well, his kind and beautiful sould has reignited Aaron's passion for cooking. Tristan has also helped Aaron with his mental health. You both may not realise this, but you have both saved each other, but those looking at you both certainly do. God bless you both x
It may only be 3 people but as much cooking as Tristan likes to do I don't think a larger tub of butter or an 18 count egg pack would be wasted. I mean if it expired in a few days maybe but reading the labels can help avoid waste.
My kind of video! Tristan is humble in his knowledge, Max’s approach to life as someone who could have chosen to feel privileged makes me so proud of him. Two unassuming young men with Aaron as a mentor💙💙 No chaos, no drama for the camera. Best of wishes coming your way, young men! I see Landon is this group one day as well.
Tristan cracking. me up re the toaster "Look what it's going to do to it." Lol. Guys, Max will get it soon. He has never lived on his own before, and he is already being responsible by trying to reduce how much he spends. He will be fine.
Oh Max, it's good to have a certain thoughts/beliefs/principles towards various things to a certain extent but I hope you allow yourself to also learn from others, be more open minded and not be so hard on yourself😉 You are only 18, there's so much more knowledge that awaits you. Tristan was right about the cup noodles, people who have been privileged enough not to go through that will not know what its like. But this also doesn't mean not spending your earnings at all because you will end up being too frugal 😅
The most important thing to do when you are on your own. 1) Make you bed. 2) Wash dishes 3) Do your laundry. 4) Pay your bills 5) Learn to clean. Sweep, dust, mop. 6) Set up a simple eating plan. Make meals that don't require a lot of planning at first. Learn to freeze your favorite foods. When you work and you are tired you will appreciate all of these simple ideas
@@agingintobeautyMy parents travel in their camper often. She always freezes 2 servings of things that reheat easily. Makes supper easy after a day of traveling.
The one thing I LOVE about Tristan is really nice and sweet. He likes to do acts of service like I do and that's a good gift to have He really fits in your family
Tristan is so likable! I’ve been watching your family for a couple of years and I love seeing Tristan interact with the family so naturally. Good luck with the move! Ps: Tristan, prego does not mean delicious even though it is yum 😂
Is great you are teaching them how to grocery shop. Young kids need to learn, especially now that they are on their own. My respect, beautiful family. You can see there is ❤️
Max it was so hard for me to learn to cook for 1-3 people. I used to feed the neighbors but eventually you learn. Tristan’s energy and knowledge of food has helped Aaron.
I just love watching how and learns how Tristen does the cooking. I noticed how he is really focus on his cooking skills. I just love how he gets Aaron motivated and bring him out of the depression she’ll. Hugs💕💕
Making butter is really easy. My husband drove milk truck for years so he always made our butter and it was the best butter with no added bad stuff. Plus saved us so much money. I wondered when Max would venture on his own. I did see a video of some of the kids shopping for a meal for them to prepare a long time ago and if I remember right Max just got a couple packs of meat and it was hilarious cause he didn’t have enough meat for everyone. Glad you’re educating him. Also show him how to save money when grocery shopping. Kids going out on their own should all know how to save money on groceries.
For alex... the almond milk at costco in dry shelf bulk can get 12 half gallons for 12 dollars and can use it needed by nit running out to the store every week for it and only runs me $2 per gallon over a gallon per week at $3 /gal. Hope it helps
Aaron.. loving beyond crazy! Your cooking vlogs have always been my favorites, you have such a passion. But i absolutely loved this one, seeing you help your boys out with their first shopping trip at their new home, it was very sweet. I believe your sweet mama Carol guided Tristan back to you all, ive seen such a happiness about you since you and Tristan have teamed up in the kitchen a lot. Keep up thr great vlogs Aaron!
Y’all, Max is colour blind. Of course he’s not going to lean on the visual aid of his food being plated “fancy” - he literally cannot see and process the plate like people with “normal” vision x
I bought a toaster for five dollars like 12 years ago. It worked so well. My toast was always perfect. Then I bought a new toaster that was supposed to do all these magical things, had a digital read out, whatever and it just never actually does what it's supposed to. It doesn't toast evenly, the bread always gets stuck, the tray for crumbs is hard to get out. I miss my old cheapy toaster so bad! So yes, they don't make them like they used to!
The guys should set up a gift registry on Walmart and Target for House Warming Gifts;) Then, toaster, air fryer, fancy spices, meat and dairy they can put in the freezer, cases of favorite drinks/snacks, blankets, toilet paper, wall art, lamps, etc. Then, friends and family can celebrate with them knowing their gifts are appreciated:)
Cosori is a wonderful brand. I got their dehydrator. It was $200 cheaper than most other brands, BUT was just as quality and I like it more than the more expensive one.
I love the açaí! Here in Brazil it’s really popular, it’s traditionally from the north part of the country where they actually eat with savory food like meat, rice and beans at lunch for example 😅 the rest of the country (like where I’m from) we eat it as a ‘dessert’, with condensed milk, fruit and powdered milk…
For the açaí bowls… you can also make a thick smoothie and use that as the base and top it with the toppings!! I do that all the time… get Frozen; Strawberries Peaches Blackberries Whatever fruit you like… add some milk or water… just enough to blend it. Don’t want it watery just like a thick açaí texture! It’s amazing plus can control what fruit putting in and leave pineapple out for Hannah and if someone likes pineapple can make one with pineapple… If you get a ninja Nutriabullet they work great for small serving sizes !! ❤
Max.. omg.. lolzz. You could go to a two year community college and earn a degree in business or accounting. You could work for a huge company like my mom did ..she worked for Pillsbury.. like cake mixes ..yeah. and she was hired as a COST ANALYST . She was making $81,000 in 1995 . She was hired to go into the company and cut costs and lay people off. She helped the company cut spending. Also with that degree she worked at the accounting department for the State of Minnesota and had excellent life insurance and Benefits. You can still buy and rent homes too . The knowledge and mindset you have is a huge asset tona successful future and a secure employment. I admire you for your always having that mindset of cost cutting. 🎉,, since you're also vacating from your parents home, you may qualify for STUDENT LOANS &/ or Financial Aid or grants. You are so smart kid. Ive enjoyed watching you grow up. Dont forget to invite Grandma over for a meal. 😅
My tip would be teaching them how to make grocery list before going to store! So figure out Breakfast, lunch and dinner for the week and snack! I shop for my family of 8 but I alway need to make list before going! I alway do it by layout if the store!
When I grocery shop, I am always watching labels because my hubby and I eat kosher, so we watch the labels to make sure there is no pork or shellfish in the items we get. It is always a good habit to watch your labels.
My granddaughter is highly allergic to pineapple...as in she has an epi pen for it ..be careful when you eat out ..a lot of restaurants use pineapple juice as a sweetener...always ask your server if they use pineapple juice...you'd be surprised how often they do .. Tristan rocks!!!...❤
So love Tristan giving life lessons because he is right. You two said first grocery on YOU.❤ They need it all. Butter, Milk, Bread we've all said that one. Spices, oils, crisco for cooking and frying. AIR FRYER oh loved Aaron's face YES and all the help anyone can give any of their kids or friends is such a help to whether they make it or break it.; Dishes, pans, silverware. Alex a shower curtain etc. Please Aaron and Crystal. pastas, sauces help they with all the things they don't have this first time. Plus, sewing threat and needle they need to fix things, screw driver and hammer. Cotton balls, Q Tips all the bathroom things they've not realized they need. Max is already getting overwhelmed so be prepared for the pantry at your house to be raided like Halie does from time to time ha ha
I don’t use a toaster anymore. I just put the toast in the air fryer for three or four minutes and it comes out perfect every time sometimes though you might have to flip it depending on how you like your toast.
I think now the boys are moved out think a great series for you is having Tristan do how to make great food in a dorm room or single people with little. Just a thought as he seems to be an awesome cook
Always loved ur family its becoming so clear that Tristan was ur missing piece n feel like Aaron mum is watching over u all. What things does max use in kitchen to help cook meat safely being colour blind?? Tristan, joe n aaron in kitchen would be so fun xx
@@BCgalwithattitude I actually think the way he responds shows he’s humble. He doesn’t ever want a 10/10 because he knows he’s not perfect and always has room to improve.
Bagels are the best put in a cold oven hole not cut turn the oven on to preheat to 350 when it reaches temperature take out the bagel cut in half put spread on it amazing. Crispy outside warm chewy inside.
it was so interesting seeing your way of making açaí bowls! that's one of my favorite things too and fun fact: the popular kind of açaí that we make açaí bowls with it's actually considered açaí ice cream and in the original one that's typical from the north of brasil they eat it different (and brings up a lot of arguments around here about which one is better 😂). i hope in the future you guys can explore some Brazilian recipes!! loved the video ❤
I use Hunts traditional spaghetti sauce. It's a good base for adding meat, 7:43 onions, diced tomatoes with peppers or wine. Whatever to "doctor" it up😊
