In this video we are going to show you one of the supermarket of Spain. SPAR, it is one of the common grocery store chain which you will get across europe. So now let's go and see how expensive it is in Spain as compared to Netherlands or Switzerland. There are many other supermarkets but we chose Spar as it was close to our apartment. We are south Indians, we carry tamarind rice masala, so we cook rice in an electric cooker and mix with masala. Also we buy vegetables and rice then make veg pilav in electronic rice cooker

Me too. We carry puligore mix, pulao masala , some tadka spices , coarsely powdered toor and masoor Dal ..cooks faster . I prefer making poha and vermicelli with vegetables available there . We cooked our food throughout our travel for 22 days in Russia ☺️

Good details cute couple,previously we were go with 5 to 10 kg food items and other ready to cook items but after this video I have decided to take only 3-4 kg.main masalas etc.with us. As we go by eurail monthly pass,it is very convenient for us to carry less luggage,from now we will try at least 4 to 5 time in week cook our meal. Your simplicity and concentration on small small things attract us to see your videos.Nothing artificial is specialty of your show. Thanks a lot 🙏

Bhartiya Traditional food items available in very unique way, Rajma, roti etc. Mostly all things are very costly specially Bhartiya food only some continental foods are seemed to be reasonable.... Pasta, pasta sauce....are available in similar rate, The answere to your question is, I usually travel along with pickle and home made parathas, restaurant foods are optional in that case.... Too realistic as well as informative vlog as usual....quite intresting too... Liked it.....! 👍 Eagerly waiting for upcoming vlogs..... You missed wine and whiskey segment. Spanish wines are world famous. There is a saying, “worst Spanish wine is even better than world’s best wine”. Rioza are best in spain. I was in Madrid so know many of these: also try to find Indian shops nearby or Indian restaurants and give us feedback.

Hi, I am big fan of your videos. I am currently in Cork, Ireland. I find Spar to be on the expensive side if compared to the supermarkets like Tesco, Lidl, Aldi. Can you please do a comparative video of various product prices between different local supermarkets in Spain like Mercadano or Alcampo & the European standard supermarkets in Spain like Aldi, Lidl, Tesco. Just to get an overview.

You get Bay leaves (tej patta ) in many countries but in India we normally get Cinnamon leaves in local grocery stores what we call tej patta.

Madam, jo sabse saste aaloo(Potatoes) hai na, wo dhool ki wjh se saste nhi hai. They are newly grown new Potatoe(Naya Aaloo). Basically November se lekr February tk naya harvest kaa Aaloo market me aata hai. Naye Harvest hone ke wjh se ye saste hote hai. And agar in Aloo(Potatoes) ko abhi harvest krne ki bjaaye, March tk chod de, to ye Aaloo bhi normal doosre mehange wale aaloo jaise ho jaate hai. Most importantly Indian subji mandis may be itne type ke Aaloo mil jaate hai. xd.)

I think healthier the item cheaper it is & costly for other case, but Milk seems very costly, in India with new farm laws it seems we r heading towards similar scenario where tomato would be sell in puree form, in order to push food processing sector like developed countries, think PM Modi has neglected poverty in India

Good video with price of Groceries. Noticed that most items are very reasonable considering that it is an island touristy area. Pasta, sauces, chips were very comparable to US groc store prices. The Yogurt was ridiculously cheap at 19c. In the US a popular Dannon brand is almost 45c per each cup. This one is very useful especially for me currently considering Spain (Alicante area) as an option for early retirement. If you guys are planning a visit to the Valencia / Alicante area please cover the indian Groc store details since I am a veg., and also any insight on Indian expat population. Your videos are always very informative and appreciate ur effort.
