When you shop with your smartest friend and keeps giving you random knowledge using big words that you don't understand just to confuse you...

you should always put your produce and bakery items in a plastic bag, then put them in your cart/basket because those things almost never get washed, also to prevent salmonella from the conveyer belt at the register because us poor cashiers don't have enough time to wash down the belt after every transaction. this has been a psa.

I love this!! I work in a grocery store, and I always say, shop the perimeters of the store, the rest is preservatives and poison. Please do a video on how the produce is gassed. I always knew it was gassed (dole is the company that gasses for all other companies I was told), but is it carcinogenic, what other items could be added, is oganic REALLY better? Please do videos on that as well. I could show these videos to shoppers. My philosophy is, if you struggle to pronounce the ingredients, don't eat it.

What is your opinion on "fresh" fruits and veggies vs frozen? Granted, you won't find some fruits and veggies frozen. But from what I've heard (and I forget where) frozen is actually better. Supposedly, the items than can be, are frozen at a specific point of ripeness to slow the decay of vitamins and nutrients during it's journey from farm, to vendor, and then to your table. While, by comparison, a lot of "fresh" items may be stored in a manner that prevents then from ripening they're still decaying and a lot of the nutritional value has been lost by the time you get it. That's why they spoil so quickly in store displays or your home after purchase.
