Going in Walmart, there are 25 register lanes and only one open...😡that burns my buns! As much money as Walmart makes and as many people need jobs...that is sick!
Yes! I don't know why some people have to bring mom, dad, kids, kids friends, grandma, and the family dog. Surely the kids could just stay in the car with grandma and the dog!!!
I don’t like it when I’m shopping on a lower shelf and someone reaches over the top of me. Like, you couldn’t wait for me to move, heffa? *sucks teeth and glares
I hate when I'm at Wal-Mart and people bring their entire family to grocery shop, and their kids run up and down the aisle like their at Disneyland. LEAVE THEM AT HOME PLEEEASE!!
As for getting fast food after grocery shopping - I literally motivate myself to go get groceries by promising myself I'll get some chicken or a burger on the way home. No way I'm cooking after the trauma of grocery shopping
I'm sorry to say you're gonna have to just get over it. Manners don't exist anymore. People no longer say " excuse me, sorry about that, thank you, would you mind" etc.
I experience this all the time.... and because I have time, I usually just stand there until that person say excuse me or go in the opposite direction....
Yes, this is one of my pet peeves as well. I use to move over as a curtesy and because I was raised with manors, but now I stay where I am and if they don’t say excuse me I’m not moving
When the item you want is waaaayyyy back on the shelf And you're height challenged. When you make the mistake of wearing the same color shirt as the workers in the store. Another shopper asks you where an item is located but you're able to answer them because you know the layout of the store so well 🤣. And everything else that EJ spoke on 🤣
😂😂😂💀 okay but in all fairness, you can buy a gun and a fishing license in the same place you can buy yoga pants, cereal and get your nails done. But you looking at THEM stupid
@@rl9379 I mean but you can buy a guy, a fishing license, yoga pants and chicken in the same store..... what's different about cable? Oh and a nail shop next to the subway in the Hudson FL one 🤷♀️
Darice!!!!! You are my best friend!!! OMG!!! 😳 Wish there was a fairy to shop for Me. I HATE grocery shopping before cleaning the bathroom! Yes, THAT bad. I get anxiety. 😒
I said EBT right along with her bcuz my best friend is a black man who is a single dad & he gets that shit alot... He's not the type of person to say something back,, but I am!! 😁
I'd like to knoe why are Wal-Mart's carts so raggedy? The kind that always have one cock-eyed wheel that makes the cart veer to the left or the right. Doesn't matter the locale - boughie or busted neighborhood - broke down super squeaky carts.
I can't stand when someone runs up on the back of my heel, a lady almost met GOD up close and personal when she hit my tendonitis heel....lawd saved me and her.
Ppl in general get on my nerves.. but these right here make me wanna cuss: 1-Ppl who walk up and stand directly in front of me (like I'm invisible) while I'm trying to find an item on the shelf... 2- Ppl who go deaf and dumb when their kid is screaming and running around the store like a wild animal... 3- Ppl who have a whole conversation with their phones on speaker.. Ugh. 🙄🤦🏽♀️
I know this sounds ridiculous, but I hate it when I'm looking at a certain product and other shoppers join me in looking at the same product. Can you go away til I'm done? Thanx
I hate it when you do self check out and you are just tryin to scan your stuff and leave and then the machine wants come out and "assistance needed" like lord not today😫😫😠😒😒
I hate it when I get a rattling cart with a screwy wheel. I'm too embarrassed to go back because of the noise it makes AND embarrassed the whole time in the store. Once, an employee brought me a new cart because they heard the cacaphony from my dying cart in the frozen foods.
Girrrrrrrl! U need to use a grocery delivery service! Ever since the pandemic started, I've been using one and have never looked back. Groceries at my doorstep, no muss, no fuss. And no (ewww!)...people! Yasss, this is the life! Lol 😁
They are always near the electronic sections in the stores I've gone to, I make a HARD and I mean HARD left when I see the dressed up guys standing around. Nope I'm good. CRINGE
I'm mean to them. Once an AT&T rep every time I went in asked me who did I have (I actually had them) so I said "AT&T but while you're here I want to see about getting a lower price on my service since it's hard to get a rep on the phone?" She said "I can't do anything like that, I can only sign people up for new service." I told her "You hound me every time I come in here, I need some kind of discount." I guess she remembered my face because she never asked again. I told the Spectrum people I hated their service and they stopped talking to me. (I really did)
The EBT one really upset me and kind of opened my eyes a little wider because I am 60 years old and I've been in a lot of stores looking, well, not like I have money or whatever, and nobody has *ever* asked me that. Ever. The closest I've ever come to that was when I went to a new doctor and the nurse took my blood pressure and complimented me on sticking to my medication. Ummm...I've never had high blood pressure. I'm just lucky fat.
@@shortblockflexinit5219 Oh that's a good one, Imma have to try that. Cause they be right behind me when I'm tryna pay, I'm like uh excuse me I still have to pay, like can you move from in front of the card swiper so I can pay dang haha
It takes them longer to scan the items than it took the old-timers to 10-key everything in AND hold a conversation simultaneously. The stores have literally removed any skill requirement from the job and it’s taking longer.
I used to think that but that's when the stockers are in there and they give you the evil eye or try to run you over with the large carts or pallet jacks because they figure why are you shopping at that time of the morning
I hate doing self checkout and the worker looking at you on the slick or makes excuses to come by you to make sure you aren't stealing. Hire some more damn cashier's!!!
Cashiers will be obsolete in a few years. Walmart will be all self checks. And just because you hire people don't mean they will actually show up for work especially at Walmart
When I feel like I’m being followed, the cart buddy system 🤣🤣, when people be too close in the check out line, when there’s not enough cashiers to people on the registers, and bringing my kids to the store with me sometimes
A tip with the cable provider and other services in the stores... I look at the sign they have at their table and when they ask who is my provider, I just say whatever their sign says. That way they give a thumbs up, and I can walk away. I figure it's not a lie, I'm just reading the sign. Lol.
My biggest pet peeve is having to go to the grocery store with someone else! They keep rushing me!! I cannot deal with people tryna rush me when im getting my grocery shopping done 😤
@@mybinationallife9707 Same. The only time I'm in a store a long time (longer than 15 minutes, other than the one I work in) is if other people are with me and they want to linger and look at random stuff. I use self checkouts though to pay, bag it the way I want to, don't have to talk to anyone in order to check out (the cashier or other customers), and be out of the store quicker.
If the baggers don’t double bag the canned foods or heavy items with them weak ass plastic bags. I be ready to come back to the store and square up. Especially when I told you what I wanted.
Now, that is definitely a pet peeve for me. If you can't double sack the items, just go ahead and delete them from my bill. I am not going to be picking up items in the parking lot, because the bag was too thin.
Wal-Mart bags are so cheap and thin!!! You can bag some of your stuff and ring them up through the bag! Maybe ya got 3 bags of chips and missed one on accident? Scan it through the bag! 😂 Oh, I've also heard that Wal-Mart is slowly trying to get rid of their plastic bags and make customers bring in totes AND bag their own groceries. I guess if they only have self checkouts that would make sense, but it seems like that would only work in larger cities.
How about when people pretend they don’t see a line, you tell them where the line begins and ends, and they want to debate with you as if you’re wrong.
EJ always makes me legit LOL! Sending all the LOVE. Also, Sam's Club and Costco is where it's at! They have the BEST PRICES for literally everything. Groceries, pet stuff, clothes, FOOD COURT, everythingggg. Everyone, do yourself a favor please LOL 🤗😆
I hate when the bagger don’t fill up the bag . They literally put one item in one bag ... it’s a struggle for those who live in an apartment on the third floor . I don’t wanna carry all those bags up .
I hate when they tie bags up so tight u need scissors when u get home to open it... stop 🛑 don’t tie my bags up.. and put my cleaning products together and cold foods etc
@@Kamone111 Both of these!!! 🤦🏽♀️ Doesn't EVERYONE know not to put chemicals in the same bags as the food. Also don't put my greeting cards in the same bags as something heavy; crushing my $4 birthday card!! 😡
Lol I will have grocery bags hanging all the way up my arm before I make two trips. And that case of water might just wait in the car until the next time I leave and come back.
When people leave their carts in the middle of the aisle and then walk all the way down the aisle looking for whatever. Aimlessly ...like they're the O-N-L-Y ones in existence.
😩😩😩 Hate going grocery shopping in this pandemic. So not fun anymore. People are RUDER than they were before! The masks seems to make them think they can't say excuse me! (Pre-pandemic, I politely reminded a lady that she was too close behind me while I was actually checking out. On top of me when I was just about to pay. She got so mad that she left the store with her teen. Just dramatic reaction for being told she was in my personal space. I really was polite but people being in my space makes me mad inside.)
Whenever people are told “a thing” they always wanna do the opposite. Like in some kind of childish rebellious defiance. Pre-pandemic people want to be shoulder to shoulder with you during allergy season. You tell them to back up and they get offended. Firing the pandemic you tell people to maintain their distance and they throw a fit. FOLLOW THE RULES!!!
@MK912 Just a couple months ago, I had to tell a lady she was making me uncomfortable because she was so close. She was all in my space. And she had this cough. I was angry that I had to tell her to back the hell up. We're in a pandemic. 😠
🤣🤣🤣🤣 you hit the nail on the head with all of these. The "you are too close on my back while paying" is the most uncomfortable and irritating one. Just back up, way up, and then a little more.
@@ME-tb8zv EXACTLY! It makes no damn sense. I’ve never been a fan of Walmart nor Sam’s Club either. Sam’s is ok if you get in there when it’s stocked. But good luck with that also 🤦🏽♀️
Too close is a pet peeve for me, like you, it was pre-pandemic, so I felt like I'd been at war most days arriving home from work, I work in a grocery store, so it's been WILD! I love God more. Thanks for the conversations EJ👍🏾
Hate when people just be in the way. Like move out the middle of the aisle. Or when they take the last and say nothing. Order groceries is out too. Hahah
I can’t stand when people walk in the middle and or leave their carts in the middle of the aisle,. It’s all good though, because I move carts, no asking, I just move them. People want to be inconsiderate enough to block everyone well I’ll just move your stuff, which you haven’t bought yet, so technically I’m just moving the store’s merchandise.
Yes! I once waited for a woman to pick out a toothbrush and got impatient, so I decided to do all of my other shopping and come back around to grab a toothbrush so I wouldn’t be wasting time. When I came back from all of my other shopping, she was still there. I had my 4 year old with me, so you know I wasn’t making good time doing my other shopping.
@@chrism9294 I will move the cart in a MINUTE and DARE them to say something. They know good and well they're in the way, they just don't care about inconveniencing other people.
Coming from someone who used to work in a supermarket for over a decade I think one of my biggest pet peeves as a customer was the people coming barreling out of the aisles like this is supermarket sweeps so badly I just want to tell them to slow down and if you hit me you’re hitting the floor
Mine. 1.people blocking the aisles 2.parking carts in checkout,to shop. 3.bratty little bebe kids 4.food put any old place 5.inventory blocking shelves/aisles.like,yall couldnt put this out when it came in? 6.when they say they hiring, online, but THEIR server is down. 7.item says one price on shelf, and you check, carefully.get to checkout, and its a whole other price.
#7, I hate that and they act like they don't wanna honor it so management comes over to straighten it out. Like thank u, I'm paying for the price that's on the shelf.
Inventory comes in when the truck comes. And they might be delayed due to traffic and so on. Not everything can come overnight. So they have to follow protocol and restock when it arrives.
@@happismilez8223 well hopefully you understand they are just doing their best on the register they don't have the power to change it. When you mistreat entry level workers I wonder how you treat anyone in general. Think about it if you were in their shoes.
I know this video is about something else, but my goodness, I could NOT stop staring at your hair! 🤩 Gorgeous! Would you consider doing an install video for us to learn from a master???
I hate when some Shoppers notice that I am behind them trying to get through they will stop right in the middle of the aisle and pretend like they are looking at something just to make me wait. And I know that it is on purpose. Because they'll Turn there eyes a little just to see if you are still waiting. Just Petty.
That happened to me. This chick was in front of me in a wider aisle but when she realized I wanted to get past, she slowed waaay down and then zigzagged her cart so I couldn't get past to the right or left. As soon as she finally moved over, she turned and looked right at me. It was so much room in the aisle she could've just kept going about her business. But no, miserable demon spawn 👹👺
I hate when people take up an entire aisle like they just bought it. I’d like to know what imaginary world they are in, that makes them not be aware of their surroundings.
girl, when i do grocery shopping, I'm cooking 2 days later. My family will have to eat eggs, sandwiches, fruits till i have rested enough from that grocery trip!!
My peeve is when the public comes in to the store and grab the wipes to wipe their carts and then take that same wipe and leave it in the strawberries or on top of the noodles or on top of tomatoes bananas grapes candy paper towels party supplies or when the public comes open something then spit out on the selves.
I work at Walmart my pet peeves are when people come into the store not wearing their masks, people not observing the 6 foot rule, rude employees not taking responsibility for their actions, and not having things you need.
@@ED-ie3et I'm not shaming the employees at all. I feel for them. My frustration is with Wal-Mart having a poor set up and not keeping their in-store customers in mind.
When I go in the store, I already know what I want and the path I'm going to take to get the items.....then people be getting in my way. That is the main reason why I go early in the mornings.
The only pet peeve I truly have is when I'm standing there looking for an item and someone gets in my space with out an excuse me or anything!!! Like I wanna just pass gas right then. Lol
1: I always make a list of what I need so I don't forget anything. I will be that woman making check marks in her notepad. 2: I don't like going shopping with people. If I don't have a choice, we split inside and will meet at the register. 3: I can be in an out within 20 minutes if needed. 4: just call me the self check out queen.
THIS! I have to be desperate for company to invite even my partner to come shopping with me. No, I'm not trying to "look at this" or "check this out", and if it isn't on the list, I don't want it in the cart!
@@joycehutson6477 That is the best way to do it. I really don't like hanging around looking at extra stuff that I don't need or don't want "just because."
My biggest issue is people bringing their dogs into the grocery store. First it was the little dogs that could fit in someone’s bag or cart. Now I have seen people bringing in dogs on a leash. These are not pets trained to assist disabled. These are pet owners that will not leave their dog in the car. One time I was in the grocery store and this man’s dog was sniffing the meat section. Another time I was in Dollar Tree and this woman let her dog run up and down the aisles and then the worker knelt down with her gloved hand to pet the dog. The dog was in the food aisle. I blame management for not enforcing the rule of pets not being allowed in the grocery stores.
Also my pet peeve is scanning items at the self checkout when it alerts to put the item on the bag area just to complain you put scan before placing items in the bagging area back and forth until the worker finally makes it over to clear the screen and recount your items and make you look like you are trying to steal 😡
EJ, get yourself a Target Redcard (you can link directly to your bank) if you don't want the credit card version, this way it makes Target cheaper and just be a selective shopper. While I can't avoid Walmart entirely, a few less trips to ratchetville a month makes me happier. Less screaming children and you don't hear anyone yelling about whooping their bad ass kids. It's a more wholesome peaceful experience when you don't want to mow everybody down with your cart. Target's new slogan: Target. More class, less ass. What did you think this was, Walmart? Lmao
1> when people leave shopping carts in the middle of the parking spots, leaving food items in random aisles, long self-checkout lanes when you have a few items, not enough cashiers, finding parking spaces... when i go to wal-mart, i make sure it's only the smaller one. the big ones are a nightmare.
I feel it all ...I'm at Walmart about 2/3 times sometimes out of a week. Getting better though. I go to other places like Publix and things, but Walmart is more cheaper and convenient. I have to pray before I leave and even before I get into a parking spot. It's a WHOLE NOTHER WORLD....🌏🌐🌎
I hate when I go slightly off my list with impulse buys and the cashier says I owe double of what I planned. What? But I only got these 12 extra things! I hate when I buy $100 of groceries and it all fits in 2 plastic bags. I want a whole cart full when I spend $100!
The closest grocery store to me does alot of deliveries. At any given time there are like 20 employees with full carts tear-assing around the store, trying to bust people in the shins. I feel like Ms. Pac-Man in there.
