Surgically removed the stump and replaced the soil all without disturbing pavement that was less than a foot away. Operator is an absolute artist! Great video.
@ yt white sir,ln lndia for replacing the soil and leveling we would have required another JCB😂😂 this man will not do even a seperate trolley with tractor to collect stumps will be required.
Other machines make scrap of the stump. This is the first I've seen that removes nearly all the wood while removing virtually none of the surrounding soil. Even if other machines could do that, I'd like to see them operate by a roadside without disturbing the pavement. Good machine, amazing operator! Hats off to you whoever operated that wonderful equipment.
The driver of the "claw" is a total artist, with the touch of a genius at disassembling a stump like one who might have created it! I am so impressed with the "touch" of a master, on the "Groeneveldt Grijpers"!!! Way to go!!!! Amazing!!! Thank you!
The jaws on that are over the top powerful! I've never seen anyone use an excavator with this attachment before. I've see quite a few things but this is very impressive! And yes, you have one heck of a good operator running that piece of equipment! Great Job!
A pleasure to watch, satisfying to see an operator who can complete such a fiddly job and not damage the bitumen. A bit of rain and a few weeks and you wouldn't be able to see the mark, Cheers
@@drubradley8821 If you look carefully where some of the wood gets a little bit stuck you will see them open the jaws and when the jaws open the chain goes tight and forces the wood out. You'll really have to watch closely but I think you'll see what I'm referring to. more than that is very difficult to explain short of using visual aids or writing out an engineering description 10 pages long.
Don't suggest, the good operators can do it. I saw a video where excavators are made and to show how good and nimble the machines were they had egg games, where the operators picked eggs from one location to another with the excavators without breaking the eggs
wow. spectacular machine and really skilled operator. The fact that the jaws could shear off pieces worked better than I would have thought. I've used an excavator many times to dig out stumps, and to do so, you usually have to dig around the stump completely, enough to be able to lever out the stump, (with an excavator like a 270 or bigger, sure, you can pluck this size out, but for smaller ones, nope). And plucking them out would tend to disrupt the asphalt next to it. great tool!
From someone who has had to manually dig out 10 Hazel root balls and 1 large and one very large Ash tree route balls over the past couple of years and the last one took weeks! This is very impressive work great machine and great operator well done 👍 😊
The tree never stood a chance against that gentle giant of a machine. The tree stood his ground well and tried to go the distance. But the never tiring motor of the machine was more persistent than its opponent anticipated. Even showed good sportsmanship by cleaning up after itself. Excellent fight.
I’ve never seen an excavator with this attachment. But I have to say this operator has serious skills! I was surprised the roots of this tree did not get under the pavement and lift it up.
Works in the Netherlands, where the soil is almost always moist from regular rain. Would be less effective in dryer climates where not only the soil, but also the wood is likely to be harder
Nice neat job with minimal soil disturbance and zero damage to pavement. The chains inside the bucket are a nice touch preventing wood from being jammed in the bucket - something I've experienced many a time with a standard 4 in 1 backhoe bucket.
Is it just a GUY thing. Watching the shear brute strength of a hydraulic mechanism coupled with the coordinated talent of a seasoned operator is soooo satisfying. Thank You for sharing. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
The Flat lands or Polder in the Netherlands.. besides the name, it took me one look in the surroundings and realized in which Country it is. And, I have never seen this method of getting tree stumps out, I've seen only a rotor blade that dug out a hole treestump and all just obliterating as the blade went from one side to the other and gone was it.. This is done very neatly I must say 👌
Way back to the early 1970s I was serving as a soldier in the then West Germany, and one day on our battery orders there was a piece asking for volunteers to go mountain climbing in the Netherlands, quite a few put their names forward, needles to say they were the butt of endless finger pointing.
Serious mess to rake or cleanup and the carbide faced cutters need replacement often in rocky soil. Then there's the time to replace the super expensive carbide.
*Groeneveldt Stronken Killer showcases the use of an innovative machine designed to remove tree stumps efficiently. The machine is equipped with a powerful drill and a rotating blade that grinds away the stump until it is entirely gone. The video demonstrates the machine's efficiency and precision in removing tree stumps, leaving behind a clean and level surface. It's an excellent solution for those who need to clear their land quickly and efficiently. Overall, the video is a testament to the power of technology and innovation in the field of tree removal and land clearing.*
