@@gromaudio I have the F1 style screen no nave and I want this biggest snd best. The Tesla ones look nice but honestly you never see real heartfelt reviews. They usually come off as I spent spoon this so I’m gonna say it’s awesome . TBH I’m leaning towards alpine halo 11”. Please make a listing the exact i would need to put together your ultimate system in using an alpine reference 6 channel amp with r series reference components in the fronts and reference series 6. Coax in the rear. I was going to go with the audio control lc7 to correct for bass cut in factory head unite. Firm your radios cut bass? ALS with my obdlinkmxplus single work with your radio

@@Mik35959 The GROM VLIne VL2 or VLite VT2 products integrate with the factory stereos and use already existing car stereo screen. If you are looking to replace your stereo with the aftermarket one, your best scenario will be to get the aftermarket that supports the CarPlay / AA already.

I have an 08 M45 and I think your website says this will work on it. Are there plans to offer a later build of android like 6.0 or 7.0? Your site also mentions that I wont be able to use the steering wheel controls. Are there plans to add this functionality? I would like as much of an OEM experience as possible. I am very interested in this!

Why bother with all the added custom interface. Why not just use the tech for hijacking the video, touch screen and button press and funnel that into android auto or apple car play on screen. Nobody cares about having the stand alone user interface. This eliminates the need for the WiFi and 4G dongle. Sometimes less is more. . 99% of people are plugging in their phones.

I currently have a DVD player connected to the OEM head unit Aux input in my 2009 Infiniti FX35 w/Nav. Would that affect install of this unit? Also are the aftermarket music & Navigation applications shown via blue tooth from your mobile device or do they originate from your product and you need to link your device with a mobile hotspot? Does the hotspot have to be T- mobile or would any hotspot work. I'd tethering the same as a mobile hotspot? Do you have a VL2 version with expanded memory for my vehicle?

Hello Walter, yes most likely you will have to disconnect the DVD player. I would double check with GROM tech directly at gromaudio.com/support.html The aftermarket music and navigation apps are being originated by VLine. You can also Bluetooth stream from your phone, but music only. GROM VLine needs internet connectivity either via Mobile Hot Spot or via phone internet tethering. It does not have to be TMobile, as long as it provides internet connectivity to the unit. Tethering is the same as mobile hot spot. You can learn more by going to gromaudio.com/vline/ and gromaudio.com/vline/video.html (for demo videos that explain the features of VLine). We do not have the VL2 version for this vehicle, sorry. GROM Audio i had a question about this. D So for the 2008 version, if i purchase this will i have to disable xm or something of that sort? Thought i had heard something like that. Also, does this render the audio controls on the streering wheel useless? Will i be able to just stream music through my android phone and have it synced showing the album art on pandora etc like it would with iphone in the newer gs?

Thank you for your questions. You will not loose factory SAT or internal CD changer with installation of GROM VLine. As for the steering wheel controls, currently the following vehicles _do_not_ support the steering wheel controls: Infiniti M35/M45 2008-2010 Infiniti QX56 2008-2010 Nissan Armada 2008-2012 Nissan Pathfinder LE 2008-2012 The rest of the vehicles from compatibility list does support the controls. We are working on the solution to support steering wheel controls for the vehicles above, but currently we do not have it yet. Does the until allow connection to multiple wifi connections? I have the BlackVue HD camera system and it would be cool if I could connect the wifi broadcast of the cameras to my in Nav system but still also be able able to tether to my phone to play music, etc.

You will use Bluetooth to stream the music, and Wifi for the internet connectivity - so, yes you can have both.

I am thinking about installing this in my 2010 Armada Platinum with Factory navigation. This looks like it will allow me to control my Phone, music, ect through the factory touch screen. Would it allow me to play a movie from Netflix or My direct TV app while parked on the front and rear screens or just the front screen?

Hello, I have a 2014 Nissan Fuga Hybrid/Infiniti M35h. The head unit is currently in Japanese. If I installed the V Line unit would it be in Japanese or English? Also would the buttons still function or would u only use the touch screen?

The buttons will still function. The VLine can be set up in the language of your choice, as it is Android based. We still would want to verify the compatibility prior to you ordering. You can choose either - the wifi hop spot on your phone, or to have the stand alone modem and the sim card with the data only plan. I noticed in every video y'all are using WiFi from the shop and or house, so know people you'll need to download offline maps for Google maps and Waze will not work properly without a cell signal.

For VLine to be able to access the and use Google Maps (or Waze or other maps) yes you need the mobile internet access. Same is for the applications such as Spotify, Pandora and etc... The offline options are available for offline maps and music applications. The music also can be played from the connected mass storage device. 1. NISKVL2 modelf or Infiniti without navigation will come with the touch screen overlay. It will also work with the controls that are already in the dash. 2. The stock options in the car will remain unaltered, except XM/SAT. XM/SAT will be disconnected from the factory stereo system and no longer available. The good thing is that if your vehicle does not have backup camera, you will be able to add it with VLine. 3. NISKVL2 VLine will come with the installation instructions and also the instructions for the touch screen overlay. Note that it will not come with the specific instructions on how to take your stereo out, as it is vehicle specific. You can browse RU-vid or check with the local install shop, they can install it for you. Thank you!

well, good thing I caught this. I have a '13 G37, non-nav, that I just picked up as my daily...thought this would work, guess not. When you say, "upgrade your vehicle to the navigational car stereo", you mean as in go out and purchase an OEM stereo and THEN purchase the Vline? Can't believe there isn't a solid working solution for the non-navs, crazy.

If there's something in the works I'm fine just waiting, however if it doesn't seem likely it'll be compatible then yes I would prefer a refund. I just kinda want an idea if this will actually be available for 2013+ Infiniti vehicles
