This couple has been forced to put their wedding on hold after the groom was left paralyzed during a joint bachelor/bachelorette party several months ago. During their party in Naples, Florida two months before their wedding day, groom Brett Greenhill, 39, dove head first into the sun-kissed water and hit a sand bar in a freak accident on the beach. He suffered a grievous spinal cord injury and was left paralyzed. "He said, ‘I can't feel my body," Greenhill’s fiancée, Meg Alexander, 29, said. #InsideEdition

Diving head first is the number one cause young people get paralyzed, that and falling in the bathroom. My father taught me since infancy to always extend my arms at all times when i dive specially in shallow waters. Such a foolish way to lose motor control

I lived in Hawaii for 19 years and was a bit of a waterman.....had one real close call when a big wave caught me and brought me with it while i was facing it and went backwards with it.....it bent my back i think as close as you could take it before snapping it....i am blessed....i was body surfing and being way too casual that day......

I think they're divorced. I could be wrong but I checked both their fb profiles. He hasn't posted a picture of her in nearly 6 years and she has no photos of him at all. On his fb, he lives in Georgia. On hers, she now lives in Texas. No wedding photos anywhere.
