What a good little dog. And it so refreshing to see a dog whose humans keep him well groomed and not matted.

My Aunt has Shih Tzu and I have seen him stand still even while bathing. I was amazed by the level of commitment he showed. Well now he is going to have his pups and I am going to own one.

I just found a shihtzu on the side of the road a few weeks ago poor things hair was completely matted, so glad to know this is what she could look like after all her hair grows back.

I really appreciate how gentle and smooth your movements are. Some of the vids the groomers kind of dig at the hair and use choppy busy movements, like a big hurry to get done. You treat them with respect and kindness! Bless you : )

For those wondering how they stay still, its the leash at the collar that maintains this posture. That gently pull allows them to remain still/compliant.

Thank you! I never used a shaver on my Morkie, except a, "YES" on tummy which eventually the hair does grow so fast.

My shih tzu would never stand up so proper like that , he would lay down on me when I mess with him bc he knows I can’t get to him if he lays down. So my haircuts come out weird . Now I just take him to the groomers . But this is so relaxing to watch ! I love this video !

What a show dog stanz, the owner should be proud, you did a great job with him/her. I work with mine for grooming, but my 7 year old has hip problems, he can not stand like that, worked with him since puppy, but, not all babies can handle the long stand, vet said puts alot of stress on their hips.
