Right! It’s so hard to find groomers like this one. I started grooming by babes on my own because they wood look so choppy and awful after being groomed.
The only thing that drives me crazy, is that she does not wipe all of those short hairs out of his eyes and nose as she goes! Preventing getting those hairs in his eyes is critical... boooooo
Such beautiful work I have 3 but one is split with teddy dog his a boy was given them from 2 different families that unable to keep them the full bread's are girls there all quite old and I got them booked for a groom but as have tried doing myself I know there most likely need muzzles as they will not sit there like this one they will put up a fight and sure bite to so wish me luck they badly need grooming though xx

Beautiful; the head and face are the hardest to do but you demoed was simple and easy to follow, I'd just add which blades you're using when doing the head as I don't know which ones you were using, I know you used the 4FC for the body as you added in the description and blade 30 for in between the toes and probably the eyes too; I'm trying to add to my list those items as I'm in the UK so trying to find similar ones for my lil shih tzu, we have a couple of them but aren't of the best quality; where did you get that grooming station? What tips do you have for a shihtzu who is very nervous about being groomed? He is scared of the buzzer and scissor. We do our best but he ends up very uneven. We live in Sweden so we do not have access to calming treats or products. Thank you!
I have a cavatzu just wondering, you shaved him a bit and then bathed him and the shaved him again..is that because you wanted to get the thick parts first? I want to start grooming him at home and just wanna get as many good tips as possible.
Looks good. Big improvement. This Shih Tzu probably needed to have short hair, but I'd like to see how to groom a Shih Tzu with a top knot. How do you part the hair, how much do you pull together to tie up?
I'm not understanding why you're rough cutting this dog..was he matted? What are you using for the body and the leg? 2 body 1 leg?? I didnt see you clip nails or clean ears either..you dont use any snap ons? Here in NYC where I've been grooming for 15yrs we do it alot different.
I’m a cat person. Cats groom themselves. I now have one of these dogs and I feel for the little guy. He can barely see out of all of the hair. I’m thinking I could just trim around his eyes until we can get him into a groomer. It just makes me nervous to have scissors near his eyes.😬
Ok, I just got one in the form of a puppy. He looks like he needs a hair cut already but he is only 9 weeks. Doesn't have all shots yet but will need them soon anyways I ve never cut I dog's hair but it looks like I ll need to get clippers, scissors, and electric clippers with shampoo.
Great cut but could you please keep the hair off his nose, he can't speak and tell you that shit is making it hard for him to breathe . I kept cringing watching as more and more hair fell , then the pup licks to remove some , now poor furbaby has hair all up in its mouth. :( I have a Maltipoo , I cut his hair and I make sure it's not getting in his eyes , nose and mouth. - when you are getting a haircut do you like hair all over you ? No you brush that shit off
My god it’s not all about just cutting the dogs hair she should be periodically brushing the hair off of the poor dogs nose and mouth so he’s not having to sit there barely being able to breathe and eating all of that hair every time he licks which dogs will do…!!! The animals comfortable should be just as high on the priority list even if they are very tolerant like this poor guy was what a trooper!!!!
I just ran across this by accident tonight. I am crying because my precious Shitzu looked pretty much like this. We had to put him down about 2 months ago and my heart has not b stopped breaking and I can't stop crying when I remember the day he looked into my eyes as he was put to sleep in my arms. Bless you veterinarians. Staff, grooming staff for the love you give our loved our pets.
You'd think the groomer would brush the loose hair away from the poor dogs face straight away how would she like breathing in fine little hairs, silly woman.
While you did a descent job it was not perfect by any means. You really to perfect your bathing skills. The ears were greasy and disgusting and around the eyes was still dirty.
