I've had a Chow before ❤ His name was Chubby, and this video made me remember all the nightmare that it was bathing and grooming him. Now I have a pinscher and... It's only better because it's a smaller dog and way less fur, but the attitude it's the same or even worse hahaha

Aww.. he looks so cute! Also yeah I have 2 dogs and they aren’t as hairy as a chow chow but they both shed so I just take them to the groomers and it’s much easier. I used to do it myself, but now I go to the groomers and it makes a difference.

Idk if it’s just here in Canada but plces like pet smart or pet planet that has self wash stations that are supper handy. It’s typically 15 dollars (Canadian) and they provide shampoo, conditioner, in assortments of scents. They also have ways you can lead the dog so they don’t run from the bath. (+ air driers for double pelted pups) This works well for us because we have a high maintenance doodle, i understand other dogs might not like the environment or might be sensitive to certain cleaning products. For me and are pup it’s worth the price because it leaves the hastle of cleaning up to a minimum.

I have a chow chow dog and I named him ‘Chumps’ and may think “oh cute!” but I live in a nyc city penthouse 😂 I am a preforming arts major at Julluaird so I bring chumps on campus because my mom, who is a psychiatrist, prescribed chumps to me😂😂 so he sits in my class either beside me or my teacher silently and idk but I seem to be living life rn❤
