Welcome to episode 3 of the Ground Up build series!
A lot has happened since our last video. A pandemic occurred, Justin gave up drifting..again, and the drifting season is almost over!
But we have not given up! The car has transferred owners but luckily it went to one of our good friends, Alex Avilla from Front Street Drift Club. The Front Street guys will be handling the rest of this build but we will still be filming these videos and showing you the progress along the way. Their shop is a lot more 'grassroots style' than ours (no 2 post lifts, tire machines, etc) so that perspective will be even better for those of you trying to get an idea of what building a car in your garage will be like.
On this episode we go over the engine they will be using and the rest of the drivetrain components. Josh Deliz explains the do's and don'ts when it comes to setting up a SR20 for drifting. And by the end of the video, we finally get to see this car move under its own power!
